This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Best Handcuff RB

Postby curtisn16 » Sat Jul 30, 2016 10:11 am

Who is the top handcuff to own between:
Howard
Booker
McKinnon
Coleman

Or is there someone else?

Thanks

McKinnon! Has produced when given opportunity, is one of if not the best SPARQ score athletes at RB in the game, and AP is due 18 million next year with little cap hit if released. U do the math.

I would say McKinnon or Coleman. I like McKinnon but he gets little work with AP. Cole,an is going to get chances this year.

Imo - McKinnon > Coleman > Howard = Booker

I think it's Charles Sims. Mostly because if Martin were hurt, he would shoulder the entire load and would shoot up in value

McKinnon is a decent handcuff but people don't want to acknowledge that HE'S NOT a true handcuff. We've already seen what they do, they split carries and he becomes a solid 15 touch guy, but McKinnon isn't going to be a superstar in the event of AP going down.

I'm tempted to say Booker, although Coleman is probably the best bet to be a workhorse if given the opportunity

I'm going to agree with Sims being in the discussion, but I'd like to note that he might not actually get the bellcow role if DMart goes down. Peyton Barber has some talent and is better suited psychically for short-yardage and RZ carries so it could end up as an RBBC. Love Sims in PPR regardless, though.

Ajayi ???

I jest ....... Surprised Spencer Ware has not been mentioned and I guess T J Yeldon should be considered a backup so should be in the conversation too ... with Alfred Morris and Starks and Chris Johnson (and Ellington if he wasn't made of glass)!

In fact thinking about it Chris Johnson is the best handcuff to own ...... Because it means you own DJ!

2) McKinnon
3) Howard
4) Booker
