Phillip Dorsett or Ladarius Green

Postby jonf86 » Wed Jun 22, 2016 11:37 am

I'm in need of a tight end. Have Gates and Witten. The other owner has Reed, Green and Walford, but is weak at WR. Also, he has Moncrief. So my thoughts are, he gets a young wide receiver in a great offense who also serves as a handcuff to Moncrief. I get a young tight end I'm in need of. Thoughts?

So, judging by the poll results, the far majority prefer Green. What other pick or player would it take to get the job done

I'd do that trade if you could, but I doubt he'd accept it. He's one concussion away from needing Green. I am also not a fan of handcuffing WRs.

I've fallen for the Green Hype, and I think many have. You might even get a 3rd or 4th round pick from him too. At least that'd be my opening offer and see his counter.

Seems like a fair trade. Like it was said earlier, I'm unsure if the other owner will be interested in handcuffing a WR, especially if he needs more viable starters.

I like Ladarius Green, but i feel like he has had so many chances to be awesome and just kept losing his spot to Gates. Maybe it was never his spot to have. I still like Dorsett. If i drafted dorsett there was a reason (tape, selected first round, selected first round by a high power offense, etc). Id want to see what the 29th pick over all does in sophomore year.

I would be curious to see what is out on the waivers. For example, Zach Miller, IE old balls at age 32, is the listed starter for the bears. Ben Braunecker is a high ceiling rookie behind Miller with nowhere to go but up. Braunecker might be more for a deeper league than a 10 team, but the point is there might be a situation out there that will open up and give you a free TE and you get to keep your Dorsett.

I somewhat agree, that's why I'd be hardpressed to sweeten the pot. My wide receivers are strong though, so willing to take the gamble because Green's ceiling is very high.

You'd have to sweeten the pot considerably for me to move Green for Dorsett. Green has the much easier route to fantasy relevance for this season and the projected next couple yrs.

Would take something like Dorsett and a 2nd. And I'm a Dorsett fan.

I have both players and agree with above that Green has the easier road ATM. I think Dorsett is at least a year out, if Hilton leaves in FA. Dorsett is really going to need to show something this year.

Green is probably worth more but I'd rather have Dorsett for the next 3 years.
