Just traded away Luck, thoughts?

Was offered 1.2, 2.2 and 17 third for Luck and accepted it pretty quickly. Keep in mind my league is only 4 points for passing TDs. Interested in some opinions just for the sake of it.

Very solid deal. Arguably Luck is barely worth the 1.02 alone.

I like it.. not it my league of course, but yours, absolutely.. you could start Tyrod Taylor in your league and be happy.. especially if he can use his physicality to get some rushing td's

I guess it's decent value in 4pt TDs, but I don't view it as a slam dunk or anything. I think u have a good team there, and this didn't help make u any stronger, the opposite actually. If u could turn around now and trade the 1.02 and a little something to get R. Wilson, or maybe a lil more and get Cam, I would love that for your team. And the added rushing stats for those kind of guys really shine trough in 4pt pass TD leagues.

I would easily take the Luck side. Not enough return for me to consider trading one of the best dynasty QBs in any format.

Solid value in the format, and I'm assuming you've got a plan to add another QB though? You don't say how many teams are in the league so it's hard to imagine who's on the waiver-wire. You've got a good looking team and it would stink to have the year go sideways should something happen to Dalton. There are proponents of streaming QB, but I think that's a risky way to go.

The 4 vs 6 points per passing TD is a myth that rears its head every season...I have no idea why owners keep falling back on this nonsense...

The trade is fine but I'd be wanting to see what your team is like without Luck at QB.

People seem really down on Luck, he was like 1.1 in dynasty league I was in a few years ago. I would like to buy him this offending. I like it so for Luck owner but u got ok value.

League has 12 teams. Not much on the wire but I'll be attempting to make a trade to get one.

This is one of those trades that largely depends on your league.

In one of my leagues, there is no way in hell you could get Andrew luck for that - that 3rd would need to be a 2nd or maybe even a 1st.

In my other league which just finished the startup draft, 1.2 (pick your poison of those WRs - Treadwell went last) went in the late 2nd round while Luck went a round later. So in that league you would have crushed it.
