Help with my QBs
Help with my QBs
I'm trying to figure out what direction to head with my keepers and most specifically my QBs. We can only keep 10 position players (QB/RB/WRs) for next year.
Here are my potential keepers:
QB - McNabb, V.Young, Sanchez, Cassel
RB - Stewart, Moreno, P.Thomas, Bradshaw
WR - Jennings, Nicks, A.Bryant, Cotchery, Jacoby Jones, James Jones
My plan was to keep 3 QB, 4 RB, 3 WR.
I'm worried about McNabb's value with a potential trade away from Philly. Trying to see if we can work a deal for Kolb.
How would you value those 5 QBs (the 4 I have plus Kolb)? I have a tentative deal to trade V.Young for 2.06 (12 team league)...any thoughts on this deal?
What would you be willing to deal for Kolb? Do you think a 2nd round pick would be reasonable?
Who would you keep as the 3rd WR after Jennings and Nicks?

10 teams; 0.5 PPR; 2QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1 RB/WR/TE.
QB - Rodgers, Luck, Winston, RG3
RB - McCoy, L.Miller, Dixon, Gio, Duke Johnson, Rawls
WR - Evans, A.Brown, Watkins, Coleman, Matthews, Cobb, Hurns
TE - Gronk, Reed, Eifert, D.Allen
K - Tucker
DEF - Cardinals, Giants
2017 picks: 1.10, 2.10, 3.10
QB - Rodgers, Luck, Winston, RG3
RB - McCoy, L.Miller, Dixon, Gio, Duke Johnson, Rawls
WR - Evans, A.Brown, Watkins, Coleman, Matthews, Cobb, Hurns
TE - Gronk, Reed, Eifert, D.Allen
K - Tucker
DEF - Cardinals, Giants
2017 picks: 1.10, 2.10, 3.10
QB - McNabb, V.Young, Sanchez
RB - Stewart, Moreno, P.Thomas
WR - Jennings, Nicks, A.Bryant, Cotchery
These would be my keepers. I am not big on Bradshaw, but I am sure you will get some who are. If I did opt to keep him, I would probably dump Sanchez to do it.
You have your QBs listed in the right order. Keep Young, he is worth more than the 2.6. You aren't touching Kolb with a 2nd rd pick.

If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
I would not trade away Young for the 2.06, but if you prefer Kolb, see if you can do a three way trade where you end up with Kolb, give Young, and the 2.06 goes to the Kolb owner.
I'm up in the air on your 10th protect - I like Bradshaw and not as excited about your WR option beyond Jennings/Nicks/Bryant. Might depend on your starting requirements.............................

So do you think Young is more valuable than 2.06 and Cassel?

If we can swing a deal for Kolb, would you recommend just dropping McNabb (obviously depending on where he ends up)?

I wasn't talking about offering Cassel and 2.06 for Kolb.
If I were to trade Young for 2.06, then I'd have an empty spot in my 10 to keep...thus, would keep Cassel. If I don't trade Young, then I just drop Cassel. So is the extra draft pick worth the drop from Young to Cassel?

So it would look like this if it was a trade...Young for the 2.06 and Cassel?JayT wrote:I wasn't talking about offering Cassel and 2.06 for Kolb.

Yes, which side would you prefer? And if we keep Young, do you think we could get anything for Cassel in a trade?

Sorry, I read that other one as Kolb not as Young. And I wouldn't want Cassel plus the 2.06 for him either. I wouldn't part with much of anything for Cassel.JayT wrote:Yes, which side would you prefer? And if we keep Young, do you think we could get anything for Cassel in a trade?

I'd deal Sanchez for that before I would Vince Young. But I know that most here probably wont agree. And I still wouldn't keep Cassel.Steelersfan wrote:Considering you would still have McNabb and Sanchez I would probably rather have Cassel and the 2.06.JayT wrote:Yes, which side would you prefer? Skip,
Why do you like Young more than Sanchez? Both play in similar rush-dominant offenses. Sanchez has better weapons to throw to and was only a rook last year. I look for continued improvement from him.
