Promote Lockett from DS to active.

Lockett was a 2015 2nd round pick so his salary should be $3,312.

Instead of cluttering up the thread about relinking your franchises up with retirement talk - I am going to pick up the Marshawn Lynch conversation here.

Just to make sure I am clear on the rules - if he is officially retired I can drop him at no cost, but if he isn't then it is the standard cap hit? or is there a cap hit either way. I just want to make sure I know what is supposed to happening, because he is being dropped off my roster either way.

If he files his paperwork with the NFL there is no cap hit. If you cut him and he hasn't files his retirement papers it's the standard cap hit.

Calvin Johnson is a 0 cap hit because he filed his paperwork. Lynch hasn't files his paperwork so intil he does he is considered active.
