Freeman/2nd for Big Ben/M. Gordon

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Freeman/2nd for Big Ben/M. Gordon

Postby ComingDoom » Wed Oct 28, 2015 7:50 am

As a competing team, would you trade Freeman and a 2016 2nd (hopefully late), for Big Ben and Melvin Gordon. I know Gordon hasn't shown a whole lot yet but I do believe in him long term. Big Ben will help me short term as I do need a QB upgrade. I'm just not sure I want to hop off the ride that is Devonte Freeman just yet. What do y'all think?

Quick update, I just got the 2nd removed and added Kamar Aiken instead. So now the deal is:

I give: Freeman/Aiken
I get: Big Ben/Melvin Gordon

IMO this doesn't improve your team this year. I don't see the benefit of upgrading Taylor to Big Ben as enough to offset what you lose by having to start Gore/Lewis every week.

Didn't see Hillman at 1sts... I still agree w/ my first post but a little bit closer given you would be choosing best 2 out of Gore/Hillman/Lewis.

Tyrod Taylor has a great playoff schedule so if you're a contending team I'm not sure why would you hop off the Freeman train?
