Re: 5 Round SUPERFLEX Mock - Drafting
I love it! Someone make the 6.06 pick if you have anyone left on your board. I'd pick 2 times but I only have one player left and he's lined up for my 6.07. Also, It's been awesome drafting with you guys and getting a good asessment of pre-combine rankings, I'd like do this again in May a week before the draft. We can get get 3 more people off the forums who are serious about it so that we're not all double picking and we can also randomize the picks again so that we can get different perspectives. Let me know what you guys think

Re: 5 Round SUPERFLEX Mock - Drafting
6.06 James Wilder jr. -RB- FSU
6'2 , 229 lbs , 4.57 40 yd dash
With the depth of the position at FSU , we didn't get to see as much of Wilder as I would have liked. Can run defenders over or make them miss in the open field. Not a bad pass catcher out of the backfield. Think he has tremendous upside to be an every down back in the NFL. Great value this late IMO.
I'll also add that I'd like to see him go play behind a veteran back with excellent work ethic to show Wilder Jr how to work and develop his skills. Maybe Minnesota behind AP would be a great spot.

6.07 Colt Lyerla, TE, Oregon
Off field issues have made this guy nearly undraftable though he is a stud.

Re: 5 Round SUPERFLEX Mock - Drafting
Damn, not sure how I forgot Lyerla! I'll definitely take a late flier on him. While he's likely not making it, he has talent and if he produces a little you could hopefully move him to make up a little future value. Definitely can't rely on him long-term though even if he does 'make it' temporarily.

Yeah...my flier will be extra late on him...FiremanEd wrote:Damn, not sure how I forgot Lyerla! I'll definitely take a late flier on him. The guy found a way to have expensive bad habits without an NFL contract...nice upside though

Jimmy you forgot CJ Feidorowicz TE Iowa I think. Someone drafted him ahead of Lyerla and behind Niklas
Other than that it is ordering which can be personal preference

Re: 5 Round SUPERFLEX Mock - Drafting
Yea, that's not the order they were drafted in, it's just my personal board which has been somewhat influenced by this draft. I don't think if roster any if the TE's past the big 3. Re: 5 Round SUPERFLEX Mock - Drafting
Wouldn't surprise me much if Niklas is drafted before ASJ but if the is no TE premium I agree maybe excessive going beyond 4Jimmy Jones wrote:Yea, that's not the order they were drafted in, it's just my personal board which has been somewhat influenced by this draft. 6.08 Rajion Neal -RB- Tennessee
5'11 212 lbs.
Watched a handful of Tennessee games this year and really like what I have seen from this guy. Think he is a strong runner with great balance and quick feet. Does a good job receiving out of the backfield as well.
