No one is speculating that except perhaps some random talking heads looking for an easy talking point. He's being "speculated" to go to KC too... Literally any team that has any kind of question mark at QB there will be people bringing up Kaepernick as a solution. It's not gonna happen.Shcritters wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 7:35 pm When people are speculating bringing in Kaepernick you are really at rock bottom.

I don't think he does. Not long term. He's not good enough.

Bortles 2.0, except Bortles might be better.
Re: Mitch Trubisky
Arob has had a good season, so idk about the killing Arob thing. Imo Nagy really botched this. Nagy doesn't get near enough blame. He came out and said his qb wasn't smart enough to run his offense. Why would he offer that up to everyone? He needs to keep his mouth shut more often. If I was Mitch, regardless if the statement was true, I would not be happy. Now it's up to Mitch for his careers sake to prove his coach wrong, but Nagy did not help the development at all

They'll (hopefully) get to watch Mahomes in person week 16 when the Chiefs pay a visit to Chicago.Orenthal Shames wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 8:52 am Bears fans have to be sick every time theu see Watson and Mahomes ball out.
Re: Mitch Trubisky
I'm not. I was really high on Mitch. It is what it is. His potential was wasted with Nagy. How did he regress so much? I blame the coach for that.Orenthal Shames wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 8:52 am Bears fans have to be sick every time theu see Watson and Mahomes ball out.

Re: Mitch Trubisky
To see him ball out in that playoff game when it mattered most last year was encouraging. But this entire offense has taken a huge step back, it wasn't like the Bears were THIS anemic last year.
There are very few QB's who need to be throwing the ball 40+ times a game. I said it in another thread but if you want any success right now with Trubisky, treat him as a pseudo-Lamar Jackson. Run him on designed crap 10-15x a games and have him pass the rest.

Re: Mitch Trubisky
Trubisky has been poor, but the line has also been abysmal run blocking. 29th best from football outsiders through 7 weeks. 29th!!!
He really needs a run game to help balance the O, he isn't the caliber player to carry them.

Re: Mitch Trubisky
Already cut in the 3 leagues I had him. Really bad.

Re: Mitch Trubisky
I think the "standard" league is typically 12 team 1QB, and I don't consider Mitch a "must be rostered" player in those leagues.notweswelker wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 10:36 amWhat tiny leagues are you playing in that you can cut starting QBs across 3 of them?!
Re: Mitch Trubisky
In non-SF I probably wouldn't roster him.notweswelker wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 10:36 amWhat tiny leagues are you playing in that you can cut starting QBs across 3 of them?!
