Still not sure what to think about this offense. They looked rough in the first half, but second half seemed to get rolling. Not sure how much of it was due to Detroit defense being gassed and how much was Arizonas offense starting to click.

There will probably be ups and downs. I was happy to see DJ getting his elite usage back.

This dink and dunk stuff is not what I expected. I certainly don't see the revolutionary offense some envisioned. 43 attempts for 173 yards, currently. I am thoroughly unimpressed. I think Murray is going to be a decent QB, but I don't think this system is going to work the way it's currently being implemented.

I agree this is not what I expected would be attempted. He got sacked left and right and we all saw how they did nothing for that line. I expected the line to be bad.

Maybe they legitimately can't throw it deep? Isabella was what I thought might be Kyler's new Hollywood but he's not playing. Perhaps they are just doing what they can for the moment? Draft lineman next year? Or do they blame Kyler (like Rosen) and draft a QB? 🤣

I just wished they'd get DJ more involved... I just don't get it ...

According to an article he broke a record - fewest yards in a game with 30+ completions.

Link to the list of worst 30+ completion performances - the good news is Kyler is not alone - the bad news is that the record he broke was set by Nathan Peterman.

I watched the game. Carolina has a very good pass rush. Kyler had little time and tried to get it out early. Give this kid a better line and maybe a quick deep threat (either Isabella or someone next year) and I think he can be lethal.

Think Kingsbury also needs to get more creative in his motions and plays. Most of the plays are pretty vanilla. Sure he's using 4 WRs, but they are all typically spread out.

So far, he's definitely been an afterthought compared to guys like Minshew and now, potentially, Daniel Jones.

This Oline is horrible. Kyler will have better days to come if they can get him any sort of protection. He has zero time to go through his read progression and they can't get anything going on the ground to take off the pressure.

It's almost like people are already forgetting that one week ago this guy put up 350 yards at 8.7ypa in a close game agains the Ravens' defense.

The biggest issue for rookies is consistency. They all have bad games mixed in like this. Hence rookie Wentz being on that same list of guys with low yardage on 30+ completions.

Some of it was game flow dependent too. The Carolina pass rush was mauling the Cards' line so Kingsbury seemed content to use the passing game as an extension of the run and throw screens and short passes all over the field.

My main concern with Murray heading into this week was that he wasn't really running much yet through 2 weeks, and that's where his real value comes from. It was good to see them unleash him a bit in that respect. If he is allowed to run like that, he has shown MORE than enough as a passer to be excited going forward.

If he were a 6'3" immobile pocket passer I'd be less excited. But with his running ability he really only needs to be pretty decent as a passer to be a top fantasy piece and he has shown more than enough to think he can develop into that kind of passer or better.

Maybe if he wasn’t the next Doug Flutie we could get excited.

Plenty of positive signs. Kyler is a rookie qb and is flashing an absurd ceiling behind an atrocious O-Line and a receiving corps that is basically an elderly Larry Fitzgerald and scrubs. I like what I've seen so far, some O-line help needs to be a priority next off-season though.

I agree with this. He's showing plenty of promise, IMO
