Umm, not so much. He is older and going to a worse situation. Far from any guarantees for me.
What does his age have to do with it? Half of last years WR1's were 30 or older...

Just going to plant my flag and then sit back and watch. I'm not one for a lot of back-and-forth arguing.

I've said before that I don't at all believe in Levis, think he's got some really serious flaws in his game, and don't think he'll be an answer to the franchise QB question.

You know what's really good for young QB's? Having to adapt to new coaches and learn new offensive systems their first two or three years in the league. Hard enough for players who don't have the deficiencies Levis has.

Ridley will still likely produce WR2, maybe low-end WR1 numbers during his time in Jacksonville. But this is about him getting his $$$. It's the last substantial contract he'll sign in the league as he'll be 30 in 2024, and if I were him I'd chase the money too.

But if you're banking on Ridley materially improving on his 2023 numbers moving forward, I think you might end up disappointed. Useful, certainly. Difference maker, not likely.

Don’t disagree with your flag planting. :-). While a really hope it’s different but Ridley screams “start him get 8; sit him get 28”….boom or bust.

Unless your team really sucked last year or you were playing in a huge league, he was on your bench when he went off for his biggest FF score. The previous 5 weeks before that - one of which was a bye and not factored in - he was averaging less than 7 ppg in ppr and was WR68 in that span.

That’s what you’re booking with him. Good luck.

Completely different situations is right.

Glad you brought up the yawning chasm between T-Law and the glorious Urban Meyer regime

vs. Will Levis and literal 2021 coach-of-the-year winner Mike Vrabel

To the bolded: I say bet. 8-)
It is completely different lol

Tlaw rookie year, Jacksonville ranked 11th in pass attempts. Levis rookie year, titans ranked dead last in pass attempts

Levis is now going from dead last in pass attempts to top 10 in pass attempts

Cincinnati was 8th in pass attempts. Which callahan already has said he’s bringing the same offensive philosophy over.

Not to mention they beefed up the o-line and are in line to get either alt or fanashu.

If you don’t think Levis won’t get a significant bump in passing volume then you obviously didn’t watch any of the bengals

Jake browning averaged 32 pass attempts per game as the full time starter with Callahan as the coordinator that’s prorated to 544 pass attempts over 17 games which would be good for 11th in the league

Firstly, get f--ked

Secondly, our man is saying that FOR SURE Will Levis is about to be Top 10 in Pass Attempts.

I can buy a bump upward going from Vrabel to Callahan. As you say - he's coming from dead last. Even middle of the pack would be a big step forward.

Writing his name in pen for top 10 pass attempts (or any kind of top 10, quite frankly) after watching him play in 2023 is way beyond the pale - just for me.

But hey. Stay woke.

(ps. I don't see why Calvin Ridley would command more targets than D-Hop in this scenario still - why do we have optimism given that T-Law was already 8th in your precious pass attempts?)

It's a Top 10 bridge in pass attempts

We used hopium instead of steel beams

It's very sturdy, I promise

The '24 Titans offense is highly unpredictable at the moment. So many changes. Need to see it first. We can make predictions but there are too many variables to contend with. Leave it to the redraft managers to decide whether to bet on Ridley or D.Hop. I'm not buying either of them right now.
