I was looking for this thread, to say this a few days ago. I think he's a real long term risk. So many injuries, like I said. One more concussion could do it, and he's more prone to them now. I really hope the best for him, good kid, and a lefty! I definitely see the risk. I've long considered him a redraft like play for contenders- shouldn't anticipate a long career, but can expect a high PPG in the games he plays. My concern is his career horizon seems shorter than I initially thought. He may not have a long career and guys like Geno Smith may outlast him.
Have to remember, the type of posturing that Tua showed, was an indication of severe brain trauma. I don't think it's far fetched to think if he suffers another concussion this year, that he could be advised to retire by a neurologist, like Jhavid Best.
