The writing has been on the wall for months, Jerry thinks it's all the o-line and any back can be successful. They also kept Randle despite all his off-field and lockerroom problems when a backup rb normally would have been cut instantly.

Of course if you've been around long enough people said the same thing about Emmitt and the year he held out they couldn't run the ball worth a crap. Looking at the situation, looks like a big ugly rbbc. I thought about buying DMC before the draft because I didn't think Dallas was drafting a starter, but I just don't want anything to do with him.

This, he had chances to be signed off the Dallas practice squad last year and stayed there. I also think if Dallas had more faith in Randle then Murray wouldn't have had 400+ touches last year. I picked up Williams when the season ended and am hoping it pays off.

That sounds great fantasy wise but I'm sure the Rams are pretty content to have one of the best backup RBs locked up for under $1M for 3 years.

It really does not make sense to me that the Cowboys are willing to roll the dice on their season with the RBs they currently have on the roster. I still think they will do something with that position before TC starts.

McFadden and Williams make DeMarco Murray look like the model of good health. Dunbar is solely a 3rd down back. And Randle can't seem to stay out of the news off the field.
Team #1: 12 team, (1 QB 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, K, DEF), PPR (0.5/1/1), 22-player roster

WR: AJ, Gordon, Benjamin, M Bryant, Jennings, C Hogan, Austin, Dobson, Janis, D Carter, C Washington

Team #2: 12-team, (1 QB 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex, K, DEF), PPR (0.5/1/1), 25-player roster

QB: Ryan, Bridgewater
RB: Forte, Ellington, Forsett, Hill, Bush, Taliaferro, Cunningham
WR: Megatron, Julio, Gordon, A Johnson, VJax, CPatt, Colston, D Baldwin, C Hogan, Charles Johnson

This.

Per Rotoworld blurb:
In a radio interview, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones didn't rule out the possibility of trading Dallas' 2016 first-round pick for a running back.

Dallas' current backfield is comprised of scrap-heap runners and Joseph Randle, who was effective in a lightly used change-up-back role last season but doesn't project as a volume runner. The Cowboys believe they essentially got three first-round picks this year in Byron Jones, Randy Gregory, and La'El Collins, and may be willing to part with their 2016 round-one selection. "I'd be reluctant to," Jones first conceded. "But certainly if the right situation came along that could improve us now, with where we are with (Tony) Romo, his career and where we are with what we've put together, it's a good time to go for it." Romo is 35 years old.
Wait for it...

So is the love for the Dallas situation going to lead to people reaching for Days in rookie drafts?

That depends on what a "reach" is...

Grab him in the 2nd; he stays in MIN it's still likely not terrible value (other than his age in general versus dynasty). Grab him in the 2nd, watch him go to DAL, enjoy championship. Priceless.

My bad - wrong Days...

Certainly not impossible that a UDFA would step in and step up; but I doubt JJ is referring to trading a future 1st for a UDFA that he already signed...
