It's 2 years away, more guys are going to elevate and reveal themselves in time. This 2024 class looks a lot better than the 2022 did at this same point in time, and I think that is going to continue to be the case the closer we get.

Guys can also regress, and lose value. Just ask the Spiller people.

You’re going to see a lot more players go into the portal and come out, especially ones who weren’t recruited during the NIL era and are trying to get paid by the collectives

I still like this year's class more. Argument could be made that the top guys next year at QB/WR/TE are better than this year, but I like the depth of '23 more at both RB and WR as of now.

Agreed. A lot can change, but the depth of 23 was easy to see a year out. 24? Not so much, but it does have a very solid 1st round, including two players who may be special at their position (Harrison, Bowers).

He is staying at LSU.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the transfer portal allows for one immediate transfer as an undergrad and one immediate transfer as a grad student. After that, you have to sit out a year. So, Boutte technically could transfer anywhere if he wanted and play right away.

But, LSU is probably going to be really good next season.
