Sounds like Foster isn't doing himself any favors since the season closed. Injury history, bad interviews, being sent from the Combine (true reasoning TBD). Still love him on the field, but got to have a head on your shoulders too. Will be interested to see what it all means come draft day.

Yeesh... Concerning. And then one of my other favorite prospects, his teammate Allen with his arthritis... Ugh

Sure sounds that way. Not sure how bright he is either, but man is he good at football!

Alabama ILB Reuben Foster failed his Combine drug test.
Foster's sample was diluted, which counts as a failed test. He's now in the league's substance-abuse program. Foster claims he failed the test because he was extremely ill and taking in an exceptional amount of fluids. This adds to a nightmare Combine for Foster, who was sent home after getting into an altercation with a hospital worker. Foster is recovering from shoulder surgery. Foster is an elite talent, but could fall to Day 2 because of his growing off-the-field concerns.

He should write a book on how to ace the combine....

Just as a fan of football, this really sucks. I hate seeing talent be compromised by stupidity

I'll take him in NY. Burfict has worked out fine. The later the talent the better.

Surely not at 6 overall tho, right?

Correct. We have other bigger needs than ILB. I would take his talent though in the 2nd round if he's available. Still not the biggest position of need, but I'm fine taking elite caliber talent if it is available later. David Harris won't last forever.

Also works to my advantage in dynasty. Would love to have him but was unlikely to get him based on his standing early in the process. If he hits 3rd round in my league, I'll go hunting.

Doesn't seem to fit the SF mindset right now - He will be a Bengal by the end of the month

We already have Pacman, Mixon and Burfict, but there's always room for knucklehead in Cincy !
