He'll bounce back. Over the last 3 years Wilson was something like QB 21 in total yards in the month of September. From October-January over the last 3 years he was number 5 in total yards.

He's a slow starter- give it a week or two and he'll be in the QB 1 discussion. Especially if Carson keeps it up and gives him something to work with.

Agree with this.

As a Seahawks fan usually the season starts painfully and picks up around week 4/5. Last year Wilson passed for over 4K yards while playing through injuries that most people would have to sit out. I don't see why he can't surpass that this year and the TDs will come once the offense has settled in.

His career completion percentage is 64.5%, this season so far he's at 56.1%. These first two games seem to be an anomaly. The problem seems to be Jimmy Graham and Paul Richardson. Graham has been great in the past but he is 31 so that is somewhat worrisome. I don't know if he'll bounce back to QB1, he was middle of the pack last season depending on scoring settings and they still have a great defense which will limit his upside.

They will fire the OC midway through the season and he'll be fine. But until then...

The problem once again is the o-line. Wislon has literally been scrambling for his life immediately at each snap. It would be good if Bevell was fired, but I don't see it.

How good will Russel Wilson be going forward?

Bad offensive line. Diminshing weapons.

I don't think the loss of PRich and Graham is nothing.

Yes absolutely he is still a stud QB1.

He is still one of the most talented QBs in the NFL, and nothing there has changed. He lost some weapons, but how much of Wilson's career-long value has been tied to Paul Richardson? Almost none. Jimmy G is a weapon lost, but he was flat out terrible for stretches last year.

Yes. I mean.. He basically did it with nothing last year.

Not only is he still a QB1, but he's also been their best RB ever since Lynch left.

If the question is, is he an elite QB 1 IRL, then his supporting cast shouldn't dictate that. He's a top 3-5 QB in the league.

If the question is, is he a fantasy elite QB 1, he still has legs, so nothing has changed.

Also, if they replace Graham with ASJ, I actually think it'll be an upgrade. As for Richardson, I like him, but he's very replaceable.

^ Word. I feel that on ASJ. Graham didn't do a whole lot after the catch.

I'm not making the case, just asking the question, but you guys seem pretty damn sure. I have no doubt Russ is an elite real life QB and NFL player.

In 2017 he threw 34 touch down passes on 553 attempts.

In 2016 he threw 21 touch down passes on 546 attempts.

You guys don't think a regression to the mean is possible?

His passing tds totals since 2015: 20, 34, 21, 34

I'm not saying he won't be a dynasty QB 1 asset, I'm asking if you still think he finishes top 5 at the QB position in actual fantasy scoring next season.
