Curious after watching Jayden Reed having a good rushing half to go with his receiving if rushing yds or yards from scrimmage by WRs has any predictive value or if its just receiving yds.

JSN jumping a tier after today... monster.

I guess this Rams D is made up of future accountants, though...

Not really, no. I looked into this before and it just creates a bunch of false positives

Let’s pretend for a moment that JSN was drafted by the Rams and Puka went to the Seahawks. Do we think that JSN’s stats would be better or worse than Puka’s currently, and Puka’s better or worse than JSN’s?
Team One:
Year 12
12 team, .5 ppr
QB 2RB 3WR TE FLEX K DL LB DB

QB - CJ Stroud
RB - Tank Bigsby, Sean Tucker, Chris Rodriguez, cans
WR - Garrett Wilson, Drake London, JSN, Jahan Dotson, Demario Douglas
TE - Kyle Pitts, Cade Otton, Chig Okonkwo

2024 Picks: 1.1, 1.2, 1.9, 2.6, 2.10, 3.1, 3.2, 3.7, 4.1, 4.10
2025 Picks: 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 4

Team Two:
Year 2
12 team, .5 ppr, SF
QB SF 2RB 3WR TE 2FLEX K

QB - Joe Burrow, Kyler Murray, Daniel Jones
RB - Roschon Johnson, Kendre Miller, cans
WR - Amon-Ra St. Brown, Chris Olave, Jaylen Waddle, Jordan Addison, Jahan Dotson, Demario Douglas, Elijah Moore, Wan’Dale Robinson

I'd say Pukas current stats would still be at least as good as, and likely better, than what JSNs would have been as a Ram. Hard to imagine anyone putting up a better rookie campaign than what Puka has. But that goes both ways, as I really don't think Puka's would be much better as the Seahawks #3 than JSNs have been either.

The major difference would be dynasty value. Had JSN gone to the Rams and been the defacto #1 from week 1, his value would be insanely high. With Puka it took a few weeks for the realization of what was happening to set in. Even now, despite the production difference, JSNs value isn't far behind Puka.

What is everyone making of JSN. Is he a buy? Hold? I’d like to try and get a package with JSN in it but I can’t tell if he’s just more name than game right now. One big game and he’s going to skyrocket though

You don’t even need a big game for his value to rise. If the Seahawks move on from Lockett this offseason, JSN will get a hype bump (like Burks and Skyy Moore this past offseason). With redraft analysts also advocating for 2nd year WRs in general, I’d be very surprised if his perceived value was lower at the start of next season than it is now.

I'm guessing that in the vast majority of leagues he's on the team that drafted him. And that those managers remain optimistic that his lack of production is situation driven - behind two very good WRs and Geno maybe coming back to earth a bit.

I agree with the comment above that JSN will be a boost when Lockett leaves and the redraft community starts pumping him up. Probably the time to buy is once rookie picks are slotted but before NFL FA. I think I'd pay any pick after about the 1.07 in SF.
