Re: Kendre Miller Thread
Seems Kendre may get some more time to shine, assuming he himself can stay healthy. Williams was just placed on IR, so 4 games minimum.

If Williams and his career 4.0 ypa stalls Miller’s career in any meaningful way then we’ve misjudged Miller badly.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 5:47 pm Seems Kendre may get some more time to shine, assuming he himself can stay healthy. Williams was just placed on IR, so 4 games minimum.

Agreed. It's just that he may be getting a chance earlier than expected, because coaches tend to stick to vets early over day 2 RB's, the first half of the year.Bronco Billy wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 6:48 pmIf Williams and his career 4.0 ypa stalls Miller’s career in any meaningful way then we’ve misjudged Miller badly.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 5:47 pm Seems Kendre may get some more time to shine, assuming he himself can stay healthy. As a Kendre owner these four games are more interesting to me than the three with no Kamara. This will give us a better idea of what the two can do before Kamara is not a Saint.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 5:47 pm Seems Kendre may get some more time to shine, assuming he himself can stay healthy. Re: Kendre Miller Thread
90 total yards yesterday. The passing game usage was what really (pleasantly) surprised me, going 4 for 53, with some explosive plays, and a nice hands away from the body catch, on a short gain. 16 touches. Nice to see.

agreed. they'll say garbage time, but who cares, that's how you get a good audition behind a guy like Kamara. also, I think AK being back is positive for the tutorship of Kendre

Re: Kendre Miller Thread
He was used throughout the game, though, his biggest play was in the 2nd quarter. He was used at the end of the game, to run the clock out a bit, so it was tough sledding, but he was getting some touches earlier, too. Obviously he might not have hit 16 touches if it was closer, but still a good sign.yinzername wrote: ↑Mon Oct 09, 2023 11:25 am agreed. they'll say garbage time, but who cares, that's how you get a good audition behind a guy like Kamara. also, I think AK being back is positive for the tutorship of Kendre

Re: Kendre Miller Thread
Looks like a smooth receiver
Re: Kendre Miller Thread
Also noticed Saints waived Tony jones so its all Kamara/Kendre for another week until Williams is eligible to return. Not sure how close he is to coming back or if he even factors in much from here
Tangent, but Tony Jones landed in ARI, after the Conner injury

Re: Kendre Miller Thread
Honestly, only a matter of time before he beats out Ja. Williams. He's just so limited as an early down plodder and it doesn't really fit with this type of offense. Worked with Detroit because they value the hell out of the type of physical tone Williams sets, even with poor carries. Also, think they wanted to reward his leadership as well.Jigga94 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 09, 2023 2:31 pm Also noticed Saints waived Tony jones so its all Kamara/Kendre for another week until Williams is eligible to return. But, at this point, I think Miller will secure RB2 on this team at some point.
Re: Kendre Miller Thread
Right, I think Kendre pretty much has become the RB2 at this point. Williams could be their GL back, but they have Taysom for all that bs if they really wantCameron Giles wrote: ↑Mon Oct 09, 2023 3:24 pmHonestly, only a matter of time before he beats out Ja. Re: Kendre Miller Thread
You bumped this thread to say that? For what reason? You think Jamaal Williams and his 3 yards per touch are going to keep him off the field the next 2 years? He's looked explosive in the passing the game, the little chance he's got. Some serious vindictiveness in this.
I'd say you're comment belongs in the trash can, personally.

He's just popping in to do a spray-and-pray FF, I wouldn't pay it no mind.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2023 12:13 pmYou bumped this thread to say that? For what reason? No analysis here. Just a man and his single line opinions.
Frankly, him calling a Joshua Palmer breakout was when I knew he was just an automated spam bot.
