Anybody considering starting Kelce week 1?

I know it sounds crazy, but who else is going to catch passes for Kansas City? Bowe is out. Kelce has looked phenomenal all pre-season. Reports continue to swirl about how excited KC is to utilize Kelce as a play-maker.

Anybody have the balls to start him? I'm considering it (between Kelce / L. Green / B. Sankey / C. Shorts / S. Watkins / M. Lee).

No kidding. Kelce would have to reach Julius levels or even more to be worth a high 1st.

I love Kelce, but a high-1 next year could acquire Cooper/Gurley/Gordon. Yeah, so...

I'll pile on on this comment. This should have been snap accepted because unless he turns into a Graham/Gronk kind of player, a high 1st is the value ceiling for a TE. You were being offered compensation in line with what his potential will likely ever amount to, even if his production never matches it. His value can only climb from where it is - which at best right now is probably a late 1st/2nd round pick.

After trading Cameron this offseason I'm starting him week one.

Had something similar happen. Was offered Jordy for a late first and second. Was going to accept but internet was taking too long on my phone. Ordered lunch, went to my table, was gonna accept and it was already revoked. Stupid mountains blocking reception

I have him behind Gronk in two dynasties. I'm not looking to move him. He looks like he could be a real deal TE.

I'm higher on him more and more with every week I see him play. Roto had the stat……played 50% of the snaps in week 4 but lead the team with 9 targets. In a Alex Smith lead offense this is kind of what I expected to happen. If you have him would you trade him for a future 1st right now?
