2023 Week 16

I'm heading to Japan this week and hoping that I can figure out a VPN that allows me to watch Redzone on Youtube TV. If not, I'll just be refreshing my live scoring for MFL & hoping for the best.

My work (redraft) league coasted to the #1 seed and a week 15 bye. Unfortunately my QBs were Herbert & Howell. Gotta do some waiver wire work.

In FantasyFreak's league that is very very TE premium, I put up lots of points with 3 TEs (Hock, Likely, Kmet) in the lineup. I may do that again.

I tried to use Nord in the EU to get Youtube TV and it did not work. I ended up just watching Reddit NFL streams (hopefully I can mention that here). It was nice to have a VPN for that tho, but not necessary

Stroud being out didn’t slow down Noah Brown this past week. I’d be more worried about him playing one drive and reaggravating the injury again. Honestly, with all the injuries, most people aren’t gonna have many options.

Stroud being out didn’t slow down Noah Brown this past week. I’d be more worried about him playing one drive and reaggravating the injury again. Honestly, with all the injuries, most people aren’t gonna have many options.

After going 0-3 last week in my playoff matches (faced Purdy + CMC in two of them. Fun) I have 3 others entering the fray this week. I gotta say though, none of those teams are looking good after all the injuries. I will probably be relying on the likes of Noah Brown, Pitts in a WR spot and a few other dicey moves...

Honestly, I can't wait for this injury riddled season to be over.

Hate to say it, but I've been feeling this way about 2023. Injuries just torpedoing most of my teams. Like plugging holes in a leaky boat, only so many you can patch before it starts to sink.

Managed to make it to the semi-finals in one of my dynasty's, but lost Chase and Jayden Reed (and Keaton Mitchell - though he was on the bench) in the process. Going to have to move forward playing backup WR's as well and hope for the best. Good luck!

Just have to make the playoffs... and be healthy. In the 1st league below I've been a top 3 seed every year but have limped into the playoffs. Last year I started slow because of injuries... then was healthy for the playoffs and finally won.

I don't know how to plan for that though. My teams are usually 'pre-season all-stars, post-season pumpkins'... guess I just need to be more active through the year to flip to 'future oriented players' rather than who had been producing...?

When I looked at my juggernaut team at the beginning of the season, I just knew that I would be pinning my hopes & dreams of a championship on Nick Mullens QB'ing my team in week 16. ------said no one ever

But when you're in a 14 teamer and your starting QB was a rotation of Herbert & Howell, such is life.

11-1 record with the highest points on the year in my 14 team league - star studded roster. Have a feeling I’ll be bounced by a team starting Devin Singletary and Ty Chandler.

Already lost Herbert. Now lost Chase and Pittman. Mahomes and AJB aren’t playing up to their standards. Don’t even know who is going to replace one spot since Kincaid (zero last week) is also questionable.

Team 1 in sig had a bye last week and is facing the lowest-scoring team remaining in the playoffs. Of course that means I'll probably lose. Doesn't help that JChase is out. Also doesn't help that I have two tough position calls in Tua or Lamar, and Dallas(vs MIA) or Baltimore(vs SF)team defenses.

Team 2 in sig has been vastly diminished by injuries and didn't appear to have much of a chance against the 2nd highest-scoring team in the regular season. Basically my team won by 3 points because Hollywood was listed as playing but did nothing before being pulled midway through the game. This week I'm rewarded for winning by now having to play the #1 seed, against whom I'm a big underdog.

One other team that made the playoffs lost last week. My two teams in their toilet bowls both lost last week. I'm just hoping at least one of my two sig teams will win and keep me going another week.

But is he at risk of in-game aggravation? Kind of a rhetorical question, as the answer is likely yes. Additionally, even if he plays, will he do the "Julio Jones Decoy Special" and just sort of run some routes to draw coverage? Tough situation for owners wanting to play him in Week 16.
