Right now his value is insulated because he's playing pretty well but not getting the full workload so people want to extrapolate his stats over a 300+ touch season. If and when he gets the full starting gig, he faces the risk of showing the world that he's possibly not a world-class elite RB. What if he's just good, solid, helpful, but not elite? What if he's a faster Blount? Then he's definitely no longer worth the 1.02, trust me.
