In my 14-teamer I traded Matt Jones and 2.1 (Pick 15) for Jaelen Strong and the 1.11. I wanted more out of Jones but I think this deal is very fair at this time. I was looking to sell Jones before nfl draft and free agency hits and I like Strong so i will take the pick upgrade and target whatever RB or WR slips in the draft

I'm assuming that owner values Winston>Tanny and 1.03/3.03>1.09/2.02/Crowder, so he felt he got a QB and a pick upgrade for free. Not saying I totally agree, but if someone made those two trades, I'd have to believe that's his line of thinking.

I had just recently traded away Matt Stafford and a late 1st to acquire Derek Carr (maybe an overpay but I much preferred Carr to Stafford). However, when this was sent, I thought I had to take it because of the value. I'm not a Romo guy and have never owned him, but he is a top 15 QB in my opinion, and Cobb a top 15 WR (plus I was a little short at WR).

I now roll out Romo at QB, Freeman and Duke at RB, AB and Alshon and Cobb at WR, Richard Rodgers at TE, Cutler at Superflex.

Could I get younger at QB? Absolutely. But I'll take value when it presents itself.

Made my first "big boy" trade of the off-season today. Team 2 in Sig (TE Premium league)

Gave: AJG/Seth Roberts
Got: Keenan/Ebron

Still not sure how I feel about this, but I think it's a pretty fair deal. If Allen is the PPR monster in '16 that he was the first half of '15 then I think I will have won the deal. If he looks like Keenan Allen from 2014, then I probably lose the deal. Ebron's the wild card here, and I have to believe the Lions will make him a focal point of the passing game if Calvin really is done. Roberts is an intriguing stash, but to me he carries no value in this deal. I added him to AJG just to balance out the sides.

Yeah, it's a tricky spot. I think the time to sell high on AJG/Dez/DT was after the '14 season. After seeing how hard DTs value has taken a hit this year and seeing how many young WRs are rising up the rankings, this is the offseason that I'm trying to cash out on these WRs if I get a package I can live with. By next season they'll be another year older and the market will be even colder on them.

I'm a trade junkie at heart, so holding players to the point where they don't draw any trade interest just isn't an option for me. LOL. The direct trades of selling these WRs might net me a loss, but gaining more liquid assets that allow me to make other trades is a much bigger gain to me for the way that I play the game.
