As the outlier guy here I’ll give some of my thoughts as to why I’m not overly concerned about Fields’ immediate future and why I like him.

To be a viable NFL starting QB, you have to be able to process the field quickly. Fields is as bad as I have ever seen at this. He has the physical tools, but will never succeed in my opinion.

Totally agree. It's his downfall. If he had the mobility of Kirk Cousins, he wouldn't even be in the league.

Could very well be a blind spot for me. I am still holding shares of Lance, after all.

Healthy shoulder Watson could probably do the same or better. Though he probably needs to target Njoku more. Watson never was a TE guy

I don't think he'll ever be a top 3 QB again, but I think low end qb1 high end qb2 is definitely possible.

Flacco benefits greatly by having good defenses like the browns this year and jets last year. I do think he should be an NFL QB given the QB landscape and don't know why the jets didn't bring him back that year after week 1.

Yeah, it's definitely possible but not something we've seen out of Watson in his time at CLE

And I'd honestly be worried at this point. Watson was never the most talented QB; he had a competitive edge to him that willed himself into the elite tier.. and it looks like he's lost that edge.

He's pretty much locked into the starting job with his contract but I see very real potential here for this to be a Russel Wilson with DEN situation where they're more 'stuck' with him than he is a driving force for his team.

Also, not sure if you clicked the twitter link but Mayfield is also greatly out performing him in a much worse situation.

I'm just saying - if we apply risk to him as an asset, he's dangerously close to having the bottom fall out of his remaining value. (He wasn't exactly lighting it up when healthy? I guess maybe you could sell me on his rushing... except that next year he'll be 29, and coming off a season where contact ended his year)
