Are we sure that full time referees are a significant improvement? I'm not.
I know plenty of full-time employees that are still terrible at their jobs. They just suck more consistently.
I'm a full-time employee that tries to act like a part time employee. Isn't that everyone's goal?

I don't think she saved it (didn't need to be saved). But she certainly headlined it imo.

One of the better performances.

I thoroughly enjoyed both.
Same. Sucks people want to be salty after the super bowl but I suppose that's been the norm for many years now

I was really only letdown by 50. But he wasn't even billed so it's cool. The rest are OGs but obviously a lot older so the entertainment aspect wasn't on par with some other shows. Thats kind of the MO for super bowls though lol

I thought the Superbowl half time show was awesome.

I think Taylor Madea huge mistake putting Perine in there. He failed to convert a critical 3rd and 1 at one point, and added no value on the last two player of the game (literally didn't even dive for Burrow's last pass and it landed at his feet. I don't even think he is better than Mixon as a receiver so it's not like you're putting in a Ekeler type of RB over Mixon to really keep the defense guessing.

Or maybe older? Dunno. I also thought the halftime show was great, and a huge improvement over The Who, Bruce Springsteen and Tim Petty headliners of ~10 years ago.

Both? Game wasn't good, neither was the show, but I don't like that music much, so ya. Game wasn't played well by either team. Dragged on due to commercials. Another meh Super Bowl. People who thought that was a good game have much different standards than I do, that's for sure. It's not so much being salty, but when you have to commit that amount of time to a game, with an extended HT show and even more commercials than normal, you want to see better. Neither QB played particularly well, and beyond a few plays, there really wasn't that much to get excitied about. Most of the second half (after that first play and turnover) was a snooze fest.

Just when the window to sell was starting to shine some light then slam it shut and put blackout curtains on it. :wall:

Pretty good game and decent halftime show. Thought the game was about as I anticipated, although I really didn't see the Rams having such a hard time moving the ball like they did in the second half.

I thought the officiating was fine. They missed a major game changing OPI on Higgins to start the second half and the first defensive hold against the Bengals on the last drive was pretty weak. Overall, had those two been called the other way I'd have to assume the result would be the same - 7 less for the Bengals and 4 less for the Rams.

Bengals Oline is brutal, and they better get it fixed or Burrow wont have knees left sooner than later.
