It was a surprise for me too. I didn't even offer it, the guy hit me up with it out of the blue.

Was the team a contender?

I could definitely see some of the guys in my leagues making a desperation stab like this hoping West gets Jamaal's workload. Injuries & ineffectiveness often put owners with high expectations on tilt. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't fallen victim to this in the past.

Not for this year but longterm what guys would you cut for him?

I'd have to lose CMike, Khiry or Hardy to make room for him on my 1-4 squad.

Khiry seems like an easy move to make. His value is tied to Ingram's health

That is bonkers. I got a 1st when I packaged him with James Jones (in a 16 team league) and I was happy. Now I wish I'd asked for more.

Hardy. I just don't see anything special about Hardy. Meanwhile Hankerson seems to be Roddy's actual replacement.

Agreed. Khiry will be RFA after this season. I think he's a buy low, not a drop.

An RFA that was undrafted, meaning unless the Saints slap an expensive 2nd round tender on him, other teams can outbid the Saints for Khiry without having to give up a compensatory draft pick.

I thought this year would be Khiry's breakout since the Saints were cash strapped. Then they signed Ingram and Spiller to multi-year deals. What a strange front office.

You know Spiller's contract is actually slightly richer than Ingram's (more guaranteed money)? And yet they're barely using him. All Carmichael dialed up for Spiller last week were murder-ball throws in the flat. Mystifying.

It's even weirder than that. They gave Spiller more money than they gave Ingram and they give Khiry more touches than they give Spiller. I'm sure Spiller's health has had something to do with it, but at this juncture of the season the Spiller deal looks like it was completely pointless.

I'm going to bid some FA dollars on West in the couple leagues I have Knile in (but not Charles), as it makes sense to grab him and hope one emerges. I have a lot of saved up BBD , so it's not like they doing me much good sitting there. I think in one league I have like $700, so sparing a bill or something around there might not hurt. I need rb help.

Yes. Drop CMike if possible over Robinson but his immediate value is far, far higher than either of theirs.
