is Freeman the real deal in Atlanta ?
is Freeman the real deal in Atlanta ?
What's you opinions of Devonte Freeman? Is it his job to lose or just a matter of time before Colemans takes over? Fyi Coleman has the worse broken tackle percentage in college last year.

He's a nice RB but he's no more than a Kendall Hunter esq desperation flex.

I think it's too tough to predict at this point. Freeman certainly had an underwhelming rookie year but Coleman is an unknown, as well. I wouldn't be giving up Freeman or Coleman at this point until one of them establishes himself. That job is up for grabs.

Re: is Freeman the real deal in Atlanta ?
I think Freeman is awful frankly. That backfield will be a matter of how fast Coleman can establish himself. Freeman will still be involved in the passing game though, so he has some Flex appeal in PPR leagues if you are desperate. Obviously if Coleman faceplants, then Freeman will have RB2 upside, but he's not the long term answer in ATL.
Re: is Freeman the real deal in Atlanta ?
It's tough to say Freeman was horrible with the o-line that Atlanta was putting out there. But Coleman I'm assuming will be given every opportunity to become the starter. I'm guessing it will be more of a time share between the two. Long term I like Coleman to become the main rb there.
