Donte Moncrief value? 1st rounder?

I'm high on Moncrief considering his build & having an elite QB. I think he has potential to be a top 10-15 WR once he gets more looks & develops. I'm just wondering in terms of draft picks what would meet his value? Is he a better than say a Golden Tate? Opinions?

I would probably give a late first rounder for him as I am pretty high on him too. Some learnin from an all time great wont hurt and hes only 21. I like high upside guys and taking chances but I dont know if I could trade Tate straight up for him, something would have to be added to the DM side.

Right now, he's not close to being a better receiver than Golden Tate. But he may have similar dynasty value. If I had a rebuild, I'd move Tate for Moncrief. I mean, I think Moncrief is whack (with, admittedly, a high ceiling), but his value should see a bump when AJ finally leaves. Tate has nowhere to go but down.

If I remember correctly, he was going in the early-2nd range last year. Don't think he's done anything to go up in value over the last year. I'd move a pick as high as the 2.01 if I liked him. But I don't.

Moncrief just looks like a mid-2nd Round Rookie Pick value to me, so that means I will never own him. If you are high on him and can get him for a late first or later then I wish you well. The sell-high window on his hype train closed when they brought in AJ. If I owned him and someone offered me the 1.10-1,12 for him I would personally jump on it b/c his hype was, and still is, out of control. Luck spreads the ball too much for my liking to like anyone in that offense other than Luck/TY, and possibly Gore for this year if his touches are managed.
