Those are the reports. Personally I think it's a horrendous decision. Don't fix what isn't broken. Having an extra ILB when all healthy isn't a bad thing.....especially since all 3 ended up on IR last year. I feel betrayed as a Tank Carradine owner. He was ideal size for 4-3 out of FSU, bulks up 30 pounds to play 5-technique, plays amazing with what little snaps they gave him this year when he deserved way more and now this.
The only "good" news for IDP is Aldon should gain DL eligibility. Not great for the ILBs. It means they will eat into each others stats, and Borland likely 2 down backer now

Re: Niner going to a 4-3?
Interesting. I hadn't heard this yet. How do we see this shaking things out for the ILBs? Borland goes to 2 downs and continues to wait? How do we see this for Willis and Bowman? Wondering if I sell Bowman (value should be fine at this point) despite my love for him due to the position change and injury risks...
Re: Niner going to a 4-3?
Thanks for the report. Any others changing due to coaching changes? Safe to assume Buffalo will be a 3-4?

Re: Niner going to a 4-3?
Yup. Buffalo will be 3-4. I wrote something in dynasty league discussion folder under "Rex to Bills" thread.Bobby Bruiser wrote:Thanks for the report. Any others changing due to coaching changes? Safe to assume Buffalo will be a 3-4?
Reports are they just started talking contracts with Hughes. As an owner I hope he leaves. Stats may go up with Rex but would be olb

Re: Niner going to a 4-3?
I heard Rex wanted to get David Harris to follow him in free-agency, too.

Wow. That would really throw a wrench in people's plans for Preston Brown. Glad I don't own Brown or BradhamBobby Bruiser wrote:I heard Rex wanted to get David Harris to follow him in free-agency, too.

Re: Niner going to a 4-3?
I'm trying so damn hard to sell Mario right now. Value was so high just a week ago and he is in trouble from a fantasy aspect if/when his designation changes to LB.
Re: Niner going to a 4-3?
Yup. I have Hughes and I'm sorta freaking our trying to unload him.....can't imagine how many offers I would be sending if I owned Mario. Good luck.the_future wrote:I'm trying so damn hard to sell Mario right now. Value was so high just a week ago and he is in trouble from a fantasy aspect if/when his designation changes to LB.

I have Kiko and the rights to Hughes. Should I be looking to move on from these guys?

I'd need 95% or more value for Kiko to trade him. He seems safest out of any Bills player.deadpool wrote:I have Kiko and the rights to Hughes. Should I be looking to move on from these guys?
Hughes I would be looking to trade immediately. Even if he doesn't sign with Bills, he is either going to be an OLB or a DE on a team with far less DL talent so offensive lines can give him more blocking attention

Couldn't agree more with all of this. Kiko is a stud whether he plays ilb/mlb/wlb.Breezy12 wrote:I'd need 95% or more value for Kiko to trade him. He seems safest out of any Bills player.deadpool wrote:I have Kiko and the rights to Hughes. Should I be looking to move on from these guys?

Mario/Hughes in big trouble. And what the hell are they going to do now with 2 top dts in a 3-4. Move Marcell to de?
Their personal is the perfect fit for 4-3 and they dominated without kiko last year. Why change to 3-4 and risk a huge step back on defense? I just don't get it.
Re: Niner going to a 4-3?
Honestly.....I think Marcell's value is about to be toast too. I think they go and get another 5 technique guy. Then Marcell moves to 1-technique Nose tackle. Bye bye Dareus Big plays.the_future wrote:Couldn't agree more with all of this. Kiko is a stud whether he plays ilb/mlb/wlb.Breezy12 wrote:I'd need 95% or more value for Kiko to trade him. Re: Niner going to a 4-3?
So it just dawned on me. Remember when Suggs was a DL/LB hybrid in FF the first couple years Rex tool over in Baltimore? Maybe the same happens to Mario/Hughes. Still risky to bank on it though

Re: Niner going to a 4-3?
I'd rather move him than take the small chance such a thing happened. These changes have occurred before and very few actually get that sort of designation. In short, that's not something I would factor into any decision in making.
Re: Niner going to a 4-3?
Jerry Hughes is a Free Agent though so he may just test out the waters and make big money as a DL.
