Imaging you're in a 12-team, QRRWWWTF + Sf Non-PPR league. Who's the worst QB you'd take for Julio straight up if you were in dire need of a QB? At the same time, where do you rank said QB among his position?
Recent trade went down where Julio/3rd got shipped off for Tannehill/Hartline. Yes, I'm bitter. But I'm also just curious as to how the DLF peeps would value Julio in such a format.

Re: Julio vs. QBs in a SuperFlex
Correct me if I'm wrong, but QBs are the most valuable position in a superflex league yes?
That trade is still bad. I don't think there is a straight up answer - I think Julio is worth less than Rodgers/Luck but more than Newton/Brees/Stafford/Wilson in this format.

Yeah I think this sounds about right. I may stick Newton in that first group depending on scoring formatpemo wrote:Correct me if I'm wrong, but QBs are the most valuable position in a superflex league yes?

Re: Julio vs. QBs in a SuperFlex
If start Tannehill over Julio in my lineup, but a QB close to Tannehills caliber is easier to get a hold of than a WR like Julio. It's close but I say Tannehill to start, Julio to own.

Re: Julio vs. QBs in a SuperFlex
The key word here in NON-PPR.
I only play in a superflex PPR league. JoeDay is in the league as well. In that league, I own Brees & Stafford as my only 2 starting QBs, and when they're on bye, I can substitute in a decent WR and I'll take a hit each week, but not a terrible downgrade. Maybe from 23 points down to 16 points.
However, if the league was NON-PPR, once you remove all of those reception points (90 of them at least for Julio), there's a HUGE swing in the scoring between QBs & everyone else. Your starting lineup would be hosed if you played anything but 2 QBs.
So with that being said, if I needed to anchor down another young franchise QB, I would do what it takes to get it done. But I would've aimed my bow & arrow a little higher than Tannehill to start out, and then worked my way down from there.

Oh I totally missed that, you're right

Wow, totally missed it was non PPR. I just looked at his signature and assumed that was the league he was talking about. I blame my very small iPhone 4s...I guess thats a sign I need a 6 plus!pemo wrote:jordanzs wrote:The key word here in NON-PPR.

Re: Julio vs. QBs in a SuperFlex
I play in a nonPPR 2QB league (so I guess QB's are slightly more valuable than superflex cause you can't sub in another player). There was recently trade discussions of DT (who is about equal to Julio), Vincent Jackson and Josh Brown for Wilson. The trade never went through cause of personal preferences but everyone considered that a fair trade. That being the case, I'd say that Rodgers, Wilson, Luck easily command Julio and something decent. The next tier of Stafford, Cam, Foles, Kaep and maybe Ryan would be Julio plus something small. Then the 3rd tier of whatever you want would probably be fair straight up. However, I'm not sure whether Tannehill falls in that third tier that would be straight up or 4th that would require something extra. That's personal preference. If theg uy sees Tannehill as falling somewhere in the 8-12 dynasty range then I see it as being fair.
