New to IDP!

So we wanted to implement IDP in our dynasty league that had been using D/STs and we had a draft for IDPs just recently. The starting requirements are here: 2 DL, 2 LB, 2 DB, 2 DP.

For scoring we get 1.5 point per 1/2 sack, 1.25 for solo tackles, 0.5 for assisted tackles, 2 for INTs, 2 for FF and FR, 1 for passes defended, 2 for safeties.

Here's my IDP roster:
DL - Calais Campbell, Chandler Jones, Derrick Morgan, Derek Wolfe
LB - Bobby Wagner, Brian Cushing, Bruce Carter, Daryl Washington, Mychal Kendricks, Manti Teo, Sio Moore
DB - Kam Chancellor, John Cyprien, Glover Quin, TJ Ward


First off, how did I do? It's a 10 team league. And since I think the format is tackle heavy I made sure to load up on LBs.

Here are the bigger guys available on waivers from what I can tell:
DL - Barkevious Mingo, Shea McClellin, Quinton Coples, C Luiget, Bruce Irvin (I understand some of those won't have the DE designation next year)
LB - Kevin Minter, Nigel Bradham, Courtney Upshaw, Brad Jones
DB - Quinten Mikell, Aaron Williams, Thomas Decoud, Reggie Nelson, Rahim Moore, Mike Adams, Louis Delmas, DJ Swearinger, Dashon Goldson, George Wilson

Anyone in those lists I should pick up to replace anyone that I currently have? Also, was I right to load up at LB with our scoring system we have? Thanks for any input you have!

You did good on your draft but you need to add some of those IDP's that are available ASAP. The ones to target are Luiget, Minter, Brad Jones, Thomas Decoud and Reggie Nelson. All these guys could really help your team in a big way.

TJ Ward isn't a good fantasy play, because in my league that has the same scoring he finished 44th which is really not good. So I would replace him with Decoud or the BAD bleep Nelson.
Your LB's look really good, but if you could add Jones or Minter (Washington's replacement) that would be awesome. I would seriously look into adding Luiget to your team quickly because he will be a sold play every week, and you don't want to miss out on a stud like him. Hope I help a little and have fun with IDP it is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!

You drafted far too many IDP for your setup. Also, pick up Liuget over Wolfe.

We start eight IDP players and I have 15 total on my team. We have 40 man rosters. There's honestly no offensive players out there available worth owning lol. Some team owners didn't understand that LB was the way to go in a tackle heavy format so I loaded up on LBs hoping to trade off a few.

liuget over wolfe, decloud over ward and i would pick up brad jones and drop moore. i dont think you have too many idps but if a good iop becomes avalible get him and drop an idp. there should be plenty of fill-in players on your ww.
