Chris Johnson trade offer

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Chris Johnson trade offer

Postby Mooninite » Mon Feb 25, 2013 9:28 pm

Hi

I received a trade offer where I receive Chris Johnson for Lamar Miller, Ryan Williams and 1.07 in our rookie draft. Personally I think this is too much for CJ but am considering counter offering the 1.07 and Ryan Williams (maybe dwyer as well). My team is young and weak at rb and I don't feel a 28 yr old speed back will be the best acquisition for my team and L.Miller's value will go up with a good preseason (Our rookie draft is after the 3rd preseason game) thoughts?

I'd say stick with where you are. Adding CJ doesn't make sense to me. You've got a nice core of young guys. I say, build on that.

Either way, certainly don't overpay for CJ..

I agree, I just don't see the benefit to you in that deal at all. It is way to much for Johhson, I wouldn't trade anyone part of that trade for him.

i just readed CJ K. rudolph and 1.9 for d. brees and the 2.6. just to give you something value wise. but i was stacked at RB and only had rivers and bradford for QB's. was runner up last year with no QB. so this is why i made this trade.
I only play in 16x53 with 10+ taxi size leagues with full IDP. All are PPR and most value return yardage. So my opinions may be skewed To these deep roster leagues.
