Ryan Matthews

Postby nightmarion » Fri Apr 27, 2012 6:48 pm

Is it foolish to replace Matthews with Richardson (at a cheap price)?

Considering an offer of:

Matthews $9.5, Bryant $7.5, 1.11, 2.09, and 2013 3rd for

1.01, Gronk $7.5

1st round draft picks are $1 per year signed (5 years = $5)
16 team league, non-PPR standard scoring plus bonuses. $200 cap
Schaub ($26/2014), Weeden ($5/2016)
McFadden ($35/2012), Richardson ($8/2018), Goodson ($2/2012), W. Powell ($2/2014), Taiwan ($5/2014) Bryce Brown ($2/2016)
Fitz ($32/2014), Nicks ($12/2012), DJax ($12/2013), Wayne ($12/2012) Collie ($8/2015), Hilton ($3/2014), Streeter ($3/2013), Hixon ($5/2012), Smith (STL $2/2015), B. Tate ($2/2012)
Gresham ($10/2016), Rudolph ($5/2015), Housler ($2/2017), C. Clay ($2/2015), Cooley ($5/2012)
Gostowski ($2/2015)
CAR ($3/2014), CIN ($2/2014)

from your sig it looks like you took the offer

looks like you gave Mathews/Byrant/1.11 + for T. Rich/Gronk at low salaries
Seems like a pretty good deal. Depending upon who I had at TE would sway me for which side I preferred.
Since its non-PPR I think I'd take it. Gronk scores, T. Rich should score. Mathews has more value in PPR.
12 Team PPR TE Premium
(1) QB Stafford, Cutler
(1-3)RB: CJ Spiller, F Jax, Mathews, Latavius
(2-4)WR: AJ Green, C. Patterson, Alshon Jeffery, M. Floyd, J. Blackmon, M. Wheaton, M. Brown
(0-2)TE: Julius Thomas, Ladarius Green, K. Rudolph

I like this trade for you as well. Big upgrade at TE and I think TRich will perform much better than Matthews as well. Browns NEED him to be their offense. SDC can get away with Rivers bombing it to all his WR/TE's. Keeping your cap low helps too. Nice trade!
12 team salary cap, .5 ppr start QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, TE, W/TE, W/R, K, DEF, DB, DB, DL, DL, LB, LB, 30 player total roster
QB Rodgers P Rivers 3
WR AJ Green 6.25 R Streater 1 R Broyles 1 K Martin 1 M Goodwin 1
RB Adrian Peterson CJ Spiller S Vereen, 5 D Woodhead Hillman 2, 3 M Lattimore 1, 2, 3
TE L Green 2,3 Charles Clay 2,3
