Emmanual Sanders
Emmanual Sanders
He was the Stooge to Antonio Brown and Mike Wallace due to injury and Mom passing away. He surviving ur Fantasy roster cuts this offseason? With Wallace's contract situation, Cotchery likely moving on...he's in a good situation. And was supposed to be the #2 heir apparent, but Brown took advantage and earned the spot. What say u regarding Sanders version 2012?
Re: Emmanual Sanders
He is absolutely making my roster cuts as I expect him to eat a lot into Antonio Brown's playing time in 2012.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

Re: Emmanual Sanders
I would hold him since Cotchery is no lock to return and the Rams are looking at him as well! Sanders had one of those years where a few things go bad, injuries and peronal issues! I think he is talented and the people who follow the Steelers closely say that Sanders is a better route runner than A Brown! I like his prospects and there is a chance Wallace signs the 1 year tender but they never lock him up long term - that would change his value a lot!

Re: Emmanual Sanders
He needs to be rostered in all leagues. But I am very low on him and traded him prior to the season last year (when the hype was very, very high). My issue with him is that he has had recurring foot problems and those don't tend to clear up (think Bradshaw, Kevin Smith, etc.). My bet is that he will disappoint his owners. If he has a nice outing week one and two, I'd move him for sure.

Re: Emmanual Sanders
A healthy Sanders will eat into Browns production IMO. It's definitely a situation to monitor but Ben really trusts Brown so at this point in time Sanders is a stash as a WR 4/5 with upside.
Re: Emmanual Sanders
LOL, That ship has sailed. Brown is clearly cemented in place. I think Sanders best chance is to perform as a WR3 and get a fresh start on another team. Ben and Antonio have great chemistry.skip wrote:He is absolutely making my roster cuts as I expect him to eat a lot into Antonio Brown's playing time in 2012.
Re: Emmanual Sanders
Also I see he has value as a backup to Brown. But do you really need to roster a backup for Brown?

Re: Emmanual Sanders
Agreed, there's zero chance he takes Brown's playing time. I do think he has some value as a slot guy. Ward made a lot of his catches out of the slot so there's some value. Realistically he needs to move on or take over if Wallace leaves in a year. Minimal value this year but perhaps next year. The GM wrote:LOL, That ship has sailed. Brown is clearly cemented in place. Re: Emmanual Sanders
Didnt Sanders leads the team in targets, catches, and yards the last game vs DEN in the playoffs? I think it was his first game back at 100%?

Re: Emmanual Sanders
I let him go, but we have smaller rosters. His injury issues and the fact he's buried at WR3 on his team means I'd rather someone else burn a roster spot than me.
