Postby jponte3 » Tue May 14, 2024 6:14 pm

In startup looking long term, full ppr. Who do you prefer out of gibbs and Breece hall?
How do you value them compared to the tier of WRs such as garret Wilson/puka, Sam Laporta in a 2 PPR TEP
Thanks for any feedback

Breece over Gibbs, both are elite, Breece doesn't have Montgomery biting at his heels.

Adding GW and LaPorta make this super tough. Contending year 1, go RB, longevity go with WR or TE. I'd need to think hard about who I'd take between GW and LaPorta, but I'd have both over the RBs in a start-up dynasty personally.

I got Gibbs way over Hall, what do you think the Jets are going to look like in 2025 without Rodgers

I think in terms of PERCEIVED value, it's Breece over Gibbs. I'd be totally fine with either though. Think in a 2TEP, LaPorta might be highest valued here. Think I'd take all three pass catchers over the the RB's, but that's just personal build preference.
10 Team, PPR, 27 roster: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX, 1 DST, 1 K
QB: Patrick Mahomes, Jordan Love
RB: Jonathan Taylor, Kyren Williams, Devon Achane, Derrick Henry, Jaylen Warren
WR: CeeDee Lamb, DJ Moore, DK Metcalf, Drake London, Tee Higgins, Marquise Brown
TE: George Kittle, Pat Freiermuth

Picks:
2024: 1.05, 2.10, 4th, 5th
2025: 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th
2026: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th

Splitting hairs here but I have Breece as my dynasty RB1 as he just showed us he could be a top 2 RB in a terrible offense. At just 23 age isn't a factor yet and Gibbs is going to continue to split carriers with Monty despite the GM saying he's in line for more work.

Yup. We just saw Hall operate in a bottom 5 offense and he was a league winner.

Who cares? Basing fantasy decisions on stuff like this will end up biting you. Breece is clearly a better dynasty value today and if both perform like they did last year that will still be the case in 365 days.
