1QB 14 Team Start 7 Half PPR

Pivoting off of my recent trade post about Henry, the trade talks have kind of turn in a different direction. The most valuable asset on this owner’s roster is his 25 1st. He came in 2nd to last this last season and didn’t even have his own pick so he is not adding any good players in the draft. The only players he has on his team that are even relevant are Henry and Adams. He may be open to this deal on the clock and it would leave his team with Adams and whoever he gets at those picks. He’s a mortal lock for 1.01 as every other team is on the upswing and nowhere near this bad.

Our league also pivots to max points for draft ordering this season. Am I giving up too much here or well worth it to add the RB I need and roll 2 very late firsts into a likely (at worst) top 2 pick next year?

What did you do at 1.03 and 1.04? And who is still on the board that is available at those picks? Henry could make you competitive especially if you added some nice pieces with those early picks.

I think the value is fine to great depending on where the owner ends up next year. If it is truly a T2-3 pick I accept.

Draft is tomorrow. I’ll be taking Odunze and Bowers at 3 and 4. I’m pretty locked in there. And it seems almost impossible for the other owners team to finish outside the top 2 picks and more likely the 1.01.

I would LOVE it with the early 1st coming back (more than D Adams).

In most cases I would totally agree but we are transitioning to max potential points for draft order this season and this owner’s team has literally nobody that’s even startable. His next best player after Adams and Henry is Michael Thomas. Then maybe Josh Reynolds? It’s bad. Really bad. He is also adamant about selling Adams at some point so it will get worse. Every other team has at least 3-5 decent guys that will accumulate way more points than anyone he has. He also has very little assets to add anything to the roster right now. He would need to smash on these picks I send him for him to crawl out of 1.01 and he’d then still likely land at 1.02.

Ahhh. I understand now. That is kinda like Best Ball for draft order. I like it!
