Potential JSN trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Potential JSN trade

Postby NFL123 » Fri May 10, 2024 4:17 am

I own Smith-Njigba and have been really disappointed with his usage. Spent the 1.03 last year and he is currently my WR6 behind Lamb, G Wilson, Harrison, London and Flowers.

With Lockett back yet again, I just don't see any way that he will ever put up big numbers especially with Metcalf the WR1 for the foreseeable future. Basically I'm worried that another quiet year will see his value plummet.

I've had an offer to trade JSN and a likely mid/early 2nd 2025 in exchange for Kupp and a 2025 1st (likely early-mid). Also could get Kupp and a 25 2nd for him. It's a 1QB league.

What would you do? Hold JSN and hope that he continues to improve or effectively start again with a rookie next year, but gaining a likely points benefit from Kupp this year.

I won the title last year and looking to win again this year by making the most of having CMC and Kelce.

Thanks for any help!

Personally, and I am probably in the minority, I like JSN. You don't need Kupp and JSN imo will be a target hog. I am more worried about the QB situation in Seattle than I am his target share, which I thought was pretty good considering his wrist injury and Lockett and Metcalf being there and Geno hurt last season.

I like JSN, but if that first is mid to early I definitely could see taking Kupp+1st deal. There will be 5-6 really good picks next year, and Kupp should put up similar numbers to JSN this year to hold you over.

Agree on JSN but if the first is early, then I could be swayed.

I'm expecting JSN to a bigger role this yr and by 2025 to be a WR1, so I'm accepting this

JSN for me: Just Say No (at least in this case)

(meaning that i'd take the 1st and kupp, would have worked better if you were offered JSN)
