What would you do with 1.01, 1.02. 1.08, 2.01, 2.08, 3.12?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Postby The_Envisioneer » Wed May 08, 2024 10:05 am

A bit of context, we are entering year 6 of dynasty. I win the first 2 years then completely blew up my team. I made the playoffs last for first time since the controlled team demolition.

I placed 5th but should have done better but having hurts and devonta, the eagles implosion hurt plus having Addison without cousins also played a factor. My pretty weak with javonte and pollard as my top 2 options.

I accumumated all these picks of the years and getting a ton of interest for my top three picks.

I think securing mjh and nabers is a no brainer to have a solid wr core. I'm hoping to get Brooks or Benson at 1.08.

Seeing my dynasty 1 roster in my signature, should i stay the course or trade 1.02 for picks and veteran rb?

For 2.01, 2.08 and 3.12 probably going rb (wright or corum at 2.01), rb (estime or vidal at 2.08) and wr (polk at 3.12). I'm shopping around to see i can package these for a late 1st.

If Daniels is available at 1.08, Im wondering if i should get him because last year i lost burrow and was riding hurts with no qb depth.

Thoughts?

K - Tucker

Def - Bengals, falcons, bucs, steelers.

1.01 and 1.02 are chalk, don't waiver. 1.08 I'd go RB or BPA again. You don't need to worry about QB3 in that size league. 2.01 and 2.08 BPA or trade for a veteran RB if you think you're competitive.

Thanks for the responses, much appreciated.

I figuredpolk would go sooner but im going based off the countless mocks ive done.

If he isnt there, i my trade that 3.12 for future pick or get mccaffrey, corley, baker or mcmillian at that spot

1.01 Harrison
1.02 Nabers or Williams, depending on flavor you like

I went with mjh and nabers with first 2 picks.

Brooks went at 4 and Benson at 6.

Caleb is BPA at 8 so Im thinking of going with him or Daniels.

I dont think I should go wr again because Im deep now.

Trying to explore trades as well.

Good job. Definitely CW at 8 if there. If not, Daniels seems like the right choice.

I think I'd be trying to trade either Burrow or the pick for a RB/WR if possible.

I don't know how liquid your league is or how much your league values QBs, but holding three top-10 (maybe top-5) QBs feels like a misallocation of assets in this format. I get taking BPA and it's ultimately what I would do if it came down to it, but I'd be on the phones

I would not bother with QB3 in a 1QB league when you already have two top 10 guys. Hammer skill positions.

BTJ, Worthy, Bowers, McConkey, Pearsall are all guys id want over any QB...and I'm a big CW fan. Get Penix for free later.

Yeah what does the board look like?
I was assuming Bowers went at 5 or 7, but I guess he could have fallen

Agree with CGW, there's plenty of guys I'd value over QB3 when you have Hurts locked in. Pick your poison
