How to draft at 1.2, 1.3, and 1.5 in SF PPR Dynasty?

So this morning one of my 12 team SF PPR Best Ball Dynasty League draft starts. I was fortunate enough to acquire the 1.2, 1.3, and 1.5 picks. I'm pretty sure Caleb Williams goes 1.1....so assuming that's the case, right now I'm leaning towards going MHjr and Nabers at 1.2 and 1.3, and then take BPA at 1.5 (biggest need would be QB/TE/RB) and while anything can happen, the team with the 1.4 has 3 starting QBs but IMO only 2 great WRs. So I think there is a good chance he takes Odunze with the 1.4 and Daniels would fall to me at 1.5 (my preference) But if I'm wrong and Daniels goes 1.4, would you draft Odunze (who I consider BPA) at 1.5 (and then try and trade for a QB with my WR depth later?) or would you take Maye or JJ McCarthy at 1.5 over Odunze? Or would anyone consider Bowers at 1.5 over Odunze/Maye/JJ McCarthy? Current roster below, and we start 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1te, 1 SF, and 3 reg flex starters each week.

Here is what you do.

1.02 if CW or MHJ, you take Nabers. You hold the 1.03 so there is no risk so you can get your league mates salivating to trade up. You may get an offer you can’t refuse. If not take which ever one is left. Definitely take all the time allowed.

I'm confused a little (maybe brain is still asleep) but assuming Caleb goes 1.1, you are saying take Nabers at 1.2 but don't immediately pick at 1.3 and see what kind of offers I get for 1.3? I am really excited about rostering both Harrison Jr and Nabers for the next decade.

Yes! Exactly. You have two picks in a row and take the “lower rated” WR at 1.02. Make them believe you love Nabers most and the MHJ believers might jump at the chance to get him for a steal at 1.03. In the end you control the picks but at least see what is out there with the mind games. Who knows?

You need to subtlety start planting the I value Nabers more than MHJ now.

Also, you can not afford, IMO, to leave one of the best drafts for QBs in the last decade without a QB with your QB room. I'm fine with MHJr and Nabers but at 5 I'm taking either Daniels or Maye.

If this were a slightly bigger league, I'd consider passing on Nabers to lock up a QB but with Watson and Cousins I think you have at least one QB spot somewhat settled.

do you notice a theme of each option? you want jayden daniels and know you should take him but you want the fun wr duo lol. take daniels. odzune and harrison are also a fun wr duo sir.

In a bestball id definitely take two of Caleb, MHJ, Nabers at 2 and 3.

5 is Daniels or ordunze.

SF QB values take a slight hit in bestball, but Daniels rushing upside should keep him fairly high.

I do want Daniels because I'm a Washington fan but I believe MHjr and Nabers are can't miss prospects that are more likely to have longer careers than a running QB (who I do worry about injury/RG3) so I'm fine with the chance of losing out on Daniels if it plays out that way. Odunze/Maye/JJ aren't bad consolation prizes either IMO...

I’m taking Caleb if he’s available at 2, if not MHJ. I’d listen to offers for Nabers, but unless I’m blown away, take him and at 1.05 take your QB, which id go Daniels, JJM, Maye…if you want to wait for Maye to develop I think he’s better long term than JJM

I'm going MHJ and Daniel's at 2 /3, assuming Caleb goes 1.1. Then you are still left with a top wr at 1.5 between Nabers and Rome. Rome may even go at 1.4 with Nabers qb situation. Which you can do the opposite of taking Nabers at 1.2, look for a overpay for the 1.3 and start downplaying Nabers now because of Danny Dimes. Maybe simply talk to the 1.4 manager, tell him he has his pick of Rome / Nabers at his pick, and subtly build up Rome and hope Nabers falls. Good luck, great having so many options.
