What would you do with 1.05 & 1.08?

Team 2 in sig, and I have my draft tomorrow. Curious what people would be thinking about how to best play the board with my current roster.

Questions:
1) What do you do at #8 if 4 QBs and 3 WRs go in first 7 picks? Bowers? Trade back? QB 5? Someone else?
2) Would you consider trading back from 5 to 6/7 if the draft starts Wiilliams/Harrison/Nabers/whoever your QB #2 is?
3) Ignore questions 1-2, and just gimme your best ideas, please?

Note: TE is 1.5 PPR, but we don't have to start a TE.

I have a tier drop after 1.08

My top 8:
4 qbs: Williams, Daniels, Maye, McCarthy
3 wrs: MHJ, Nabers, Ordunze,
1 TE: Bowers
I'd take whoever is left among those 8 at 1.08.

I really don't think you can go wrong with those top8.

I would rather stay at 5 and take Daniels, Williams, or one of the three wrs than move to 6 or 7, though it depends on what else is coming to you.

No real chance to trade up without some serious overpaying. Depending on what someone's offering, I could consider trading down as far as the 2.02, I think. Bowers, Nix, Worthy, Thomas, McConkey, Brooks, and Benson are all reasonable additions.

But let me get to the "gross" thing. If Bowers catches 50 passes, which isn't too aggressive, that's 75 points. Add even 500 yards and 4 TDs, and we're at a 9 PPG clip. I could think of worst things to have for a bye week filler, as a rookie.

Gross certainly doesn’t mean I don’t want players there, just that there’s a big dropoff from 7 to 8 in this format IMO then a group of guys I like similarly enough.

I’m facing a similar situation and I think the right move is just to take who falls to you at 8 unless you get a great offer. I agree with Abloom that Bowers has the skill set to play like WR and the capital they just spent on him should make you think they will build the offense around him. I just can’t justify taking anyone outside of the top 7 over him.

I would also take your best player available at the 5. They are 2 quality picks and I don’t know if you can get enough value back to justify increasing your risk.
