The $ would not be a huge factor is this league. Lamb is currently at $76, franchising him would put him at about $100 which would be like 1/17 of my budget just this yr.

The equation looks more like this

Lamb at $100 for 6 yr max
Or
1.2 & 1.4 for 10-12 yrs about $80 ea..

If Lamb had, say, two total years left or if, say, the rookie WRs would combine for a $60 salary, then it gets interesting. Since that's not the case, I have no real interest in this trade.

I can now see the motivation. If you believe that CD is a faller this year with downgraded OL, this is a decent return imo.

I don’t think he’s a faller per se, and I know neither one of those guys would replace CDs production this year. I’ve traded all my pics for the next two years all of 25 all of 26 next pick is 2027 to put this team together so I can score 2 runs with one of my players would help keep this from falling apart

I’m not very familiar with contract leagues so I may be missing was nuance here but I would find it really difficult to pass up both Marv and Nabers even if it is Lamb. I know Lamb is already elite and all of that but you’d be getting 2 next level prospects that feel as close to “can’t miss” as it gets. This might be one of the few packages worth moving Lamb for.
