SHORT: Should I trade 1.5, 2.5 and a 2027 1st for Chase

LONG: For the team in signature. Chase just went on the block. The owner is in complete rebuild and has traded everything away to the point that Q. Johnston is his second best player. He has traded a lot of guys away at what can only be considered significant discounts. The asking price is 2 1sts and a 2nd, which i feel is already pretty cheap. I went all in for a win this past season so i dont have a 1st in 25 or 26. Would i be dumb to give up 1.5, 2.5 and my 27 1st to try and get a deal done? I hated giving up my 1sts through 26, and feel like i would be killing my teams future to now give up my 27 1st, but it feel like acquiring Chase is worth it. All opinions appreciated.

I think the Chase owner rejects that without a counter, it’s way too low. But if that’s on the table I’d absolutely send that for chase.

I actually agree 100%. Im not in a position to offer more, but figured with the discounted pricing he is taking, might as well try. He traded J. Taylor for 1.4 and 2.8 which i thought was insanely cheap. I'm just worried I'm killing my team down the road if i offer and he somehow accepts.

I'd be asking for 3 firsts for chase not two. I also wouldn't be interested in the 2027 one. The only thing you have going for you is that it's the 1.05 this year. Look he's asking for 2 firsts and a second, offer him it, but don't be surprised it's a snap reject

Why don't you start with a better offer. You seem to have 1.05 and 1.06. Chase is worth more than those two picks and they are more likely to say yes if the 1st isn't in 2027.

Values too low for sure but in a start 12 this isn’t as outrageous as people are making it out to be in my opinion. Should probably add another piece of some sort for the opening offer though.
