Allen + Stroud +

My side is the Allen one. If you think I’m light, then what would I need to add?

I'd rather Achane than Kmet, but it's not a massive gap in a TEP league. But I'd much rather have Allen than Stroud even with Diggs trade.

I'm paying the difference and taking Stroud. I love Allen's FF numbers but watching him play sometimes is horrendous. Are you going to get 4 TDs or are you going to get 5 sacks and 3 INTs.

Stroud's small sample size just screamed STUD

Stroud side for a few reasons.

We can't say adding quality receivers help QBs produce better stats but not ding expectations when QBs lose receivers that help make them great. Especially in this situation where Josh Allen's stats improved significantly once Diggs was added to the roster. The before/after Diggs pictures is where Josh went from a young QB on the hot seat, to a superstar.

Josh is an improved QB from where he was before Diggs was added, but I don't think we can definitively say Josh is situation proof.

Meanwhile, Stroud had a rookie season much better than Josh's first two seasons. AND Stroud's team just got better at every position.

The last super-sized QB who thought it was fun to challenge linebackers (Cam) and try to run over them saw his career take a deep decline during/following his age 29 season. Josh is about to enter his age 28 season. AFAIK, there is no other comp for a QB who plays like Josh.

I prefer Achane to Kmet. I prefer the '26 1st over the 2nd.

I won't fault anyone for choosing the Josh Allen side. He's been phenomenal the past four seasons. On the other hand, this seems like such an obvious no-brainer pivot to youth that will keep the high-level fantasy QB production flowing for another decade. And it removes all the risk of holding a physical QB as he ages.

Like others have said, the picks are more or less a wash. None of these player is all that old yet. On a contending team, I'd rather start Stroud /Achance vs. Allen/Kmet. I'm taking the Stroud side.

But I'm not adding anything to the package to get it done. The offer is good enough.

I’m obviously trying to get the stroud side and we are close. I’d agree I shouldn’t add any more to my Allen side. The other owner has basically traded all his 2025-2026 picks to win now this year. With the top 4 picks this year he will be set on WR and QB (in his mind). He has a gentleman’s agreement with the 1.05 owner not to draft bowers at 1.04.

I do want stroud for sure, but at this point I, Just need to wear him down. Considering he will not have any draft picks until 2027, I would think Allen and Kmet would be a priority.

If any of you have an additional “selling” tactic to make this happen, that would be great.

I think this is a pretty fair offer.
You do have a deep rb bench. I'd be willing to toss one in just to get it done, if you prefer Stroud to Allen.
But if he still walks away, you still have a stud qb and a solid te that might come in handy in another trade.

This is many thanks for this thread. Ultimately the other owner is scared. I have left an open offer to have him give me what it would take. Will see how it goes.
