Thanks. That's what I was thinking. He initially wanted Kamara, but I feel like Kamara still has some juice left. I liked Singletary as a RB3 or something, but not guarantee he'll do anything in NYG. I like Hollywood as a safe WR2 with upside.Dynasty DeLorean wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2024 5:33 amYeah that’s a nice trade. Dingleberry is likely not going to be very useful and Hollywood at least has a chance to be a wr1/wr2

I think a lot of people will say that was an overpay, but I like it. Swift gets a downgrade in Chi, Terry is older and questionable situation, while immense upside for Rashee Rice. Re: 2024 Off-Season Trades
We had two very similar blockbuster trades go down in our league this past week, and everyone in the league is talking about them. Curious to get everyone's thoughts here, as the prices seem very low (but not collusion).
Background on the league: this is a league full of 12 very good friends, and we've added a lot of major wrinkles on top of a "standard" dynasty league. Trying to summarize:
- 50% of annual buy-in goes towards a running pot. Running pot is won if you either (1) win back-to-back championships, where you get 50% of the running pot; or (2) you get 46 "dynasty points" (10 pts for 1st place in a year, 5 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd), at which point the league is over and you win the whole running pot total
- We run a "spinning wheel" each year in August to determine starting lineup (standard lineup is 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 2 standard Flex). Options are: standard lineup (25% odds), 1 flex turns to Superflex (25%), 1 flex turns to 2nd TE (15%), 1 flex turns to 3rd RB (15%), 2 SF, 7 Flex (20%). Same option cannot occur two years in a row.
- All non-playoff teams pay a "rebuild tax" of $1 for every 5 points-scored your team was below the average of the 6 playoff teams' points-scored. Tax gets distributed to the playoff teams equally.
Now to the trades. First one:
Team 1 receives: Justin Jefferson
Team 2 receives: 2024 3.07, 2025 1st (their own pick back), 2026 1st (their own pick back)
Team 2 had traded all future picks away, and did not seemingly have a path towards competing. Team 2 was going to try to compete to devalue the picks Team 1 owned, but now they can sell assets (Bijan, Adams, Henry) and tank for the 1.01.
Second trade:
Team 3 receives: Ja'Marr Chase, Kenneth Walker
Team 4 receives: 2.12, 3.07, 2025 1st (their own), 2026 1st (their own), 2025 2nd (their own), 2026 2nd (their own)
Same argument as above -- Team 4 wanted to rebuild but was going to try competing out of spite to devalue the picks that Team 3 had.

Re: 2024 Off-Season Trades
Both of those trades are way undervaluing the two top assets in 1QB leagues. The first deal is short by a 1st at least and the second is essentially a free Kenneth Walker. Strong teams got stronger, weak teams stay weak.
