1QB Trade for LJax? (poll)

The LJax owner has been hounding me with offers for a couple of weeks now. He has Herbert and Baker as well... so i guess he thinks he's set?

I have Tua and I feel like my rebuilding team will make a big jump as a contender this year so LJax could be a nice little upgrade. He is wanting some of my young depth, which depth is important in this league because the waiver wire is bare and we start 2RB, 3WR, 1TE and 3Flex.

Tua, Ford, Dotson, 4.01
I get:
LJax

I am afraid that the Browns will draft a RB and Ford will lose carries between the rookie and the return of Chubb, so his value will plummet. I am high on Dotson and just got him as a throw in a Hockenson for Cook trade, but his value is very polarizing. I think LJax over Tua is a big upgrade since Tua has a crap floor. The 4.01 is whatever.

Is this a good trade, or too much "depth" for one player?

IMO, you're not really moving any depth here. The 4.01 isn't a big deal. You might be high on Dotson, but there isn't much reason to have FOMO there. And, as you noted with Ford, anything can happen at the RB position. I wouldn't be shocked if, by next year, none of the secondary pieces you moved had any real value.

I agree with this. If you want to make the QB swap, the other pieces would not stop me from agreeing to this deal. They're all two or three levels below the QBs in the trade. The pick's value is inconsequential. Base this deal solely on the QB you prefer.
