1.08 and 1.09 OR 1.04 and 2026 2nd

Hey everyone,

I just traded 1.08 and 1.09 for 1.04 and a 2026 2nd. I think it's a bit of an overpay, but wanted one of the top three WRs. It is a 12 Team Superflex TE PREM (1.5) league (signature 3). I need a stud WR. I know Caleb is going 1 and MHJ is going 2. So depends on what the owner of pick three does, but he needs QB, so 75% chance I get Nabers at 1.04.

Thoughts? Did I give up way too much?

If you wanted to get one of the top three, I think this is about the price you have to pay. Nice to get the 2nd back. Eight is just outside that top seven we've all been eyeballing in Superflex. Maybe Thomas is the clear 1.8 now. You MIGHT have gotten Odunze to fall or more likely that was Bowers. Feels about right. But I've been overpaying all off-season so, take that with a grain of salt.

That's what I was thinking. Also think there is a decent chance that Nabers goes to the Chargers, so would be awesome to stack him with Herbert.

If both MHJ and Nabers go before 4, then I'll probably take a QB for the value but would consider Odunze.

Honestly, not a fan.

1) There's a decent enough chance that one of those WRs would be there at 1.08. This was a HUGE price to move up to move from possible to definite.

2) Given your team, I agree that WR is your position of need. And I think you need more than 1. I'd MUCH rather have WR4 and WR5 (if indeed the top three are taken) give your team than WR3. I'm not confident that the hit rate for whomever WR3 is going to be massively higher than either WR4 or WR5 -- and certainly not than both.

I don't have a strong feeling of the 8/9. Like I said, I've been overpaying all offseason so take my responses with a grain of salt. I say always get your guy. Hindsight is always 20/20. If you wanted one of Harrison/Nabers/Odunze you need to move up. I have a big dropoff right about there.

1. Williams
2. Harrison
3. Nabers
4. Maye
5. Daniels
6. Odunze
7. Bowers

What next? Thomas? Worthy? Franklin? IDK. I'm coming around on Thomas. Not big on the RBs there.

Good points! Especially if the WR4/WR5 land in ideal spots at the end of the first round (like buffalo or KC). I just view Nabers as 1B to MHJ 1A, I think he is that elite so hopefully get the shot to grab him at 4. If not, then I definitely made a mistake and overpaid to take a shot on a QB or Odunze.

Ditto. The break in tiers is after 1.07 in SF leagues. While the cost was great to move up to 1.04, he is just making sure he got his guy.
