Time will tell. I could have gotten Herbert also, who might be a bit safer, but there are zero guarantees with that 1.02 pick, and I've seen Stroud in the NFL play well.

I get why you did it. Take the bird in the hand over the two in the bush. Just struck me as a trade whose perceived outcome could swing wildly in even one years time.

I can see both sides of this one. If Pitts balls this year with a new everything and being a year recovered from a multiple ligament knee injury then I could see this as a possibility in for both sides.

Good question. Probably comes down to how Pitts performs. I'd bet pretty heavily that CJ is still more valuable than any player taken at 1.02. But if Pitts can reestablish himself as an elite dynasty TE option then the value probably swings the other way.

I see the deal from both sides. It's easy to imagine a dynasty team where CJ is one of three good QBs. In that case taking MHJR/Pitts could make good sense. And adding a QB like Stroud is always good business. So that side is obvious.

Just completed for Team 1 in my sig (non-ppr)

Sent: 2025 1st and 2nd (mine, so I anticipate they will be late)
Received: T. Higgins

He's still relatively young and I feel he's proven he can produce. With his final destination still in flux, feels like a decent buy low moment for him. If he stays in Cinny I'm happy with that as well. At worst next year exploring FA, or hopefully gets traded somewhere good and not to a place like CAR or NE. Outside of those scenarios, I like it. Feels like fair value.
12 Team Non-PPR, 6pt TDs-22' R/U, 23' R/U
1QB, 2RBs, 2WRs, 1TE, 2Flex (W/R/T), 1K, 1DST

TE: T. Kelce, C. Kmet, H. Henry, M. Gesicki
K: J. Tucker
D/ST: Baltimore, Jacksonville
2024 Picks: 4.9

12 Team .5 PPR, 6pt TDs
1QB, 2RBs, 2WRs, 1TE, 3Flex (W/R/T), 1K, 1DST

Solid return by the numbers especially if your 2025 picks are assumed late. Hard to tell a year out but not a bad bet because you get all of 2024 to make those picks as late as possible.
