If Bryce would start, I assume the team is desperate for QBs. If the team is desperate for QBs, it probably cannot contend starting the alternative QB on the roster behind Bryce. If a QB-starved team cannot contend, it has no need for a RB like Etienne.

If this team already has Bryce, I would not trade for Etienne unless I had an immediate opportunity to then flip Etienne for another QB.
If this team has Etienne and has an opportunity to trade for Bryce, I could understand that logic. However, I'd probably explore other QBs to trade for if possible.

I think Young got a raw deal, poor coaching, worst receivers in the NFL, bottom 5 offensive line, no where to go but up.

Young will never be an elite fantasy QB, because he doesn't run enough, but he can certainly be a Tua or a Goff, if they put some weapons around him. Could be a low end QB1, high end QB2 for the next 10 years.

Young. I agree though if can buy a guy like Goff for Etienne would try that but I would take either QB.

I would not call trading Murray for Young getting him on the cheap by a long shot. I prefer Murray by a country mile over Young.

I did not trade Murray for Young.

I said that London and Kyler were my top 2 off-season targets 12 months ago, and that Young is a top target for me this off-season.
