What are you paying in SF?

I don't need (yet) but with Stafford as one of my 3 starters, would like to grab a younger QB now.

Is the 1.10 enough to get Baker + 2.11? Buying too high?

I am absolutely not paying that but I also don’t really believe in Baker long term at all. Stafford has a couple years left and I didn’t look into bakers contract much but based on what I saw it looks like a 2 year deal with no guarantees after that.

Maybe so, but the 1.10 is a fair offer.

Fair offer, though as a Baker manager in a few spots, I'm probably not giving the 2nd back.

He's back to back in startup ADP with the rookie 1.10. I'm assuming that price will go up a bit now that he's locked up. But it's a reasonable offer for sure

Nice to have a couple years of security, but we've seen Baker be up and down in his career, so a lot of people aren't going to fully trust him until he pieces together a few years of quality play in a row.

But in SF paying a late 1st for a locked in starter isn't a bad price point at all if you need help at the position.

Everything I’ve read is it’s likely a two year, but possible could be one year. $40m guaranteed right now. He has $10m more next year, but only if he’s on the roster March (something). So basically if he falls on his face, there is no guaranteed money after this year.

All that said, I’d give 1.10 for him if I was a contender and needed a QB3.
