JSN for 1.05

Postby Last Place » Fri Feb 16, 2024 9:29 am

Im being offered pick 1.05 for JSN. The other owner has 6 1sts and is looking to flip a few for players. He originally offered 1.09, which i rejected as i still believe in JSN and think he goes on to have a great career. The other owner then responded with 1.05. At 1.05 i think this is an easy accept, but wanted to see what others think. I already know the draft will go MHJ at 1, Williams at 2, Maye or Daniels at 3 (i have 1.03), and Nabers at 4. At 1.05 I wouldn't need another QB as my QB room is Allen, Tua, Maye/Daniels and Levis. So at this point, im essentially trading JSN for Bowers or Odunze.

Silly question... If you're saying Maye/Daniels at 1.3, why not take Nabers there and if one of the two QBs goes 1.4, take the other at 1.5 ?

Great question. I agree 100%. Take Nabers. Then whoever is left. OR with TEP take Bowers.

I'm saying Maye/Daniels just because of not knowing where they will end up. I plan to take whichever ends up in the best spot. I like Maye much more than Daniels but will go off of where they end up.

1.05 side easily.
Right now, JSN value is ~ 1.08 in 12 team SF rookie drafts.

This is how I see it too. Based on what we know today, I'd rather roster the 1.05 rookie than JSN. But even more importantly, I'd much rather be holding the 1.05 for the next few months. It will appreciate more than JSN. And it's much more liquid than a player.

X2. I’d prefer the 1.5 in 1QB and even more so in SF
