I mean if you look at every playoff team most of them have two very good receivers. Why not take the known commodity instead of relying on the mystery box in the draft.

The 49ers are the only team left with two very good receivers. It is a path, but by no means a necessity.

9 to 4 will probably cost you a first plus. Arizona isn't letting MHJ slide for a 2025 2nd when they desperately need a stud WR. I see it as about a 1% chance they could pull it off, and not sure it would be smart to pay what it's going to cost.

Agree. Especially if that pick is high again. Fields + 2nd to WASH or NEP? Probably not enough.

He coached Da Bears for 2 years during a complete rebuild. I don’t fault him at all for the job he did. I do blame Fields for more of the blame although I love fields. Good hire by LV. Maybe Fields traded to LV too? Hmmmm

Yeah, there is no way any team looked at the Bears offense and decided the best idea is to pair Fields and Getsy back together. This means Fields is not on possibility list now if he ever was. I think Getsy was pretty bad at playcalling and especially 2nd half adjustments. He did show improvement though and is young and still learning. Might end up being an ok hire for LV. I also think Fields might improve going forward. Getsy and Fields clearly arent on same page though. Getsy also clearly didnt trust Fields so no rational person would pair them back up.

Because I don’t believe he is all he is made out to be, and I certainly don’t think he is Harrison Jr levels better than Fields (Never mind the additional haul we’d get for trading the pick.

You want my Caleb Williams in Chicago comp? I give you Trevor Lawrence…. “Oh he is SOOOOOO almost good!”, but just doesn’t seem like he is living up to that hype.
