Got beat in the wild card (week 15) as the season long points leader. Semis and the finals, my team put up two of the highest scores of the year and would have wiped the floor with any other team. Always cool seeing the 6 seed win the championship with an inferior team and significantly less points.

It's a game of luck, always has been.
Only people with good luck or delusional cannot see that.

I just went through many of my leagues the past week, and in general:

- Teams in Finals had few players on IR
- Teams that didn't make playoffs had their IR slots over-flowing onto their benches, even in leagues with 10 IR slots.

Don't over-think it.
Luck is with you all the time, just a matter of good luck or bad luck.

I guess you are right, skill gets me into the playoffs, luck keeps me from winning the playoffs.

I mean when his Davante Adams (37.6 points) outscores my Tyreek Hill, AJ Brown, and Ja'Marr Chase combined (30 points), I chalk that up under the luck column.

I went 0-3 in week 17 championship games.
I was the #1 seed in all 3 leagues, got a week 15 bye, and rolled easily in week 16 in all 3 leagues.
Just ran into a buzz-saw in all 3 Finals, all 3 opponents posting season high numbers.

Probably just one of the reasons that I feel like so much luck is involved.
It does take skill to get you to the playoffs, but once you are in the russian roulette playoffs, pretty much all luck from there.

The Championship team in my league drafted LaPorta and Nacua. Nicely done on his part.

For my team in signature...I don't know...it looked better on paper I guess. Lol. Finished 11-11 and out of the playoffs, about middle of the pack in scoring. Sure, there were a few things I could've done differently. But it was a good time once again in a league that has existed for 23 years. That's pretty awesome in my book.

Would have won the championship by a 40 point margin... Instead I won 9th place... At least I won the lottery moving from 7th place to having the 2nd draft position.. To next year!
